Ah, the memories of how I hated these special stages cause you only had one chance...then I found out the Chaos Emeralds weren't really any use cause Super Sonic hadn't been invented yet.

wow! haha what a difference 10hz makes. the European power system is 50hz and north America is 60hz. that's why the euro version plays slower.

Why dont they use this to make babies fall asleep? this would save so much parents the hassle! :D but i remember as a kid i would try my hardest to stay in hear as long as possiable because i absolutely love this :D

@GoSuperSaiyan Yes, it's a result of European games being synched to the PAL standard of 50hz, while US and Japanese games are synched to the NTSC standard of 60hz.

Reason this version plays slower is it is due to being PAL, Sonic was developed on 60Hz console then ported to the 50Hz console.
