Yea Jason Lewis is pretty much the shit. I don't know if a MASTERS in poli sci makes a person an expert, but I think he is pretty much right on with what he talks about.
I started out as a Jason Lewis fan (he's what passes for a conservative in MN), but ended up seeing him as much more a fan of himself than intellectual honesty. He once told me that sure, he's there to be provocative, as opposed to any search for "truth"; I'm not sure he's been as open with all of his listeners. Good with the buzzwords and his amateur understanding of politics and economic policy, but Lewis's ego has a hard time engaging someone who is more competent on the issues than himself.
Why don't you enlighten us then, Dr. Claymore? I didn't know that this was a personality contest here in MN. Whether you are or are not smarter than Mr. Lewis, why aren't you standing up for conservative values of which he speaks? Frankly, he's the only one here in MN who has the tenacity to do it. Why aren't you standing up for the values for which you are more "competent" in? While you're slinging mud at his personality, he's in the trenches making a name for himself and engaging us.
What personality contest? What are you talking about? And heavens no, I was referring to others (not me) being more competent than Jason and his reaction thereto in interviews, and a good example of this is his behavior in this interview with Dr. Paul. Cool down a bit, pal - there's nothing here to get all worked up about ... it's just politics! If you get onto the righteous indignation bandwagon, you are the one who will end up paying with chronic hypertension. Peace, love and free markets!

I'm just like Jason Lewis....Can't find an economic issue I disagree with Paul about, but I just couldn't vote for him.
