The list of reasons, some of which I talked about, was much longer with Iraq. It has not been about any one thing. China would be, and North Korea would be about two things. With Iraq, it's about like 12 things. Also, North Korea and China have nukes, so things aren't so simiple in dealing with them.

I agree that we should not be the sole liberator of the world. The entire free world should be helping us liberate nations. Dictatorships should be internationally outlawed.

Sanctions are just a refrain from charity, but I am still against them. People die in every war, and that sucks, but liberation is always justified. We did not pop up Saddam with knowledge of what he would become, but in hindsight it was obviously a mistake. We liberated Iraq, and now they have major hope for a future of freedom instead of being scared shitless of their government and dealing with genocide. I challenge you to say something positive about that.

Even if a third candidate doesn't win, if more people vote this election for candidates against the Iraq war AND occuaption, against war in afghanistan, against war in Pakistan (Obomba) and Iran (McBush)collectively over those that vote for the 2 parties, then that will sens a clear message.

So vote for Nader, McKinney, Barr, Baldwin or write in Paul, Kucinich and Gravel. Just make sure you all VOTE aginst the war on terror. Therfore the winner has no mandate for war from the people.

I agree with your point 0613162k (btw where did you come up with that name lol),but if all the anti-war voters disperse their votes among many candidates like you suggest, none of them will get many votes. Why not unite and concentrate all our voting power into one candidate? That would give whoever it is a far better chance of success. Even if we lose, the (hopefully) high % relative to previous anti-war candidates would definately send a message. There's power in numbers. United we stand.

Well, unless they get n the debates, the likely hood is that people simply won't change candidate if they still can't win. However, if we all campaign together for our candidates as allies, then we can motivate people to keep promoting the anti war and occupation cause, as well as motivate them to make sure that they use their vote to not mandate war from the 2 parties. Collectively, it is possible to make a massive anti war statement through your vote, even your candidate isn't running.
