hey man i have an 88 iroc-z its the same engine as yours but i got problem with it i noticed that when you reved yours the rpms drop back down quick and when i rev mine it takes a while for the rpms to drop back down even after i take my foot of the gas the rpms stay up high and take a while to drop back down do you have any suggestions maf sensor???

That would be your Maf sensor, my gta had the same problem, after i replaced it it was fine.

That sounds either like a faulty Throttle Position Sensor, or a sticky Idle Air Control valve....

i actually did change both these things and it did fix the problem im pretty sure it was the tps because i adjusted it and the problem was fixed altough when i turn it on after a short trip it turns on up to 2500 rpms
