  • It may have seemed scary, but you had nothing to worry about. Under the floor boards are railroad ties and under the ties are two 6 foot thick "I" beams that used to hold up 1,000 ton trains. Your 1.5 ton car was like hotwheel on a 2x4.

  • I've been on that bridge...once. It was a good ten years ago, it was wintertime and my mom and I were shopping in Mt Carmel. She talked me into going over the St F bridge and it scared the heck out of me.

  • @giggleblaggle - I find your criticism not hurtful, but funny. I never noticed I said it that way and guess it is what they a local colloquialism. It's jest the way we talk round these parts. Ha! Thanks for the laugh - at myself!
