  • No jodas comprate la caja

  • Too proud to use a case? You can find a case in the garbage. There's no shame in just buying one for $30.

  • Found new definition for cluster fuck

  • nice!

  • expansion ports (more plexiglass) available

  • one day , you might beable to afford a case to put it in :)

  • holly shit what a hill billy server, but hey at least u used duct tape

  • holly shit what a hill billy server

  • Frankly, I wouldn't call this ideal.

  • Franken server!

Nice, looks about like my home server. Mines all zip tied together in a case I found in the dumbster.

  • IDE!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • @TheHeadsh0tGamers pata noooooooooooooooooooo :P

  • woah!! cool bro/ nice !

  • ill stick to my dual 8 core xeons

  • holly shit

  • Low xD Joke is realy Good

  • IDE connector

  • Server with no network cable?

  • you can use it as a heat source in the winter xD

  • โคตรกากเรย เซิร์ฟเวอร์เมิง มีการหมุนให้ดูด้วย 5555+

  • That looks completely safe. XD

  • Fucking loving that cardboard! xDD

  • in sviet russia servers build you

  • Bet it runs like a dream

  • Great cooling fan, a big one like yours is quiet, I'm sure. I also want one of these for my workstation :)

  • Umm,.. looks better then mine ..

  • FREE that sad machine from serving web sites of the stone age!!

  • Who cares if the server case is home made, it's important if the server works

  • @AnDRoIdmAN100 yes until it's breathed on wrong and then falls over all because it wasn't built the way it was meant to be.

  • but will it blend?

  • nice case xD must have been expensive :-)

  • stop hating on this guy! i bed you couldnt build a computer out of cardboard, random pieces of plastic/glass and duct tape.

  • @TommTheDinosaur Alright, I'm sorry but I need to respond to this on here. It's really annoying me with people using the term "Hating on others" on you tube. The problem with this phrasing is that the word, 'Hate' is a stronger word than people realize. My comment for example is just trying to make sense out of this "server" especially for something like web serving. It's HIGHLY unstable and a server is supposed to be more carefully thought of when assembled for the self or other clients.

  • @10chadjordan01 stop hating on my comment.

  • @TommTheDinosaur LOL!!! you smartass. Now I actually do hate you. :P

  • @TommTheDinosaur Plus, even for the other users on here that are directly pointing fun at a poorly made server, even they aren't 'Hating' on this guy so stop using such a strong word on you tube when that is not the case! Poking fun and hatred are two completely different expressions. Finally, I don't fault anyone on here for their comments toward this machine. The point of a computers existence, is that they are practical but this.....this 'custom' build is NOT practical.

  • who even uses Paralell motherboards anymore? and PATA? i hope thats a server for your digital picture frame LOL.

  • I don't think I'll get my hosting from you...

  • A HDD should be 40°C to live a long time. Cooling down HDD's is only needed when they get heat up by another components, and these do not. So turn off the cooler.

Further coolers transport dust. Dust + HDD = fuck.

    Have fun.

  • a webserver huh? you going to eventually put it inside of a case? :/

If you're hosting any sites for yourself or anyone else, what happens if that gets knocked over?

  • @10chadjordan01 I think you meant to say ...

what happens when i need to ship a package? There goes the tape. Of course, he could always use wads of chewing gum :-)

  • lol

  • it looks kinda sorta... deadly

  • what is the need for this im just curious

  • how much does it cost you

  • cool pls get a casing for it!

  • where is the mother

  • sugestion, if you can espically for web servers were speed is key, try to uses sata hdd's there much quicker than pata

  • Thats how we do it in the ghetto!

  • @Hamzic94 eDrugs

  • @Hamzic94 you mean you steal the parts and assemble it unprofessionally?

  • Дешёвка !

  • or you could have gotten a case.... at lease to save from any unwanted water,, damage,, Cats,,, Dogs,, Mice,, Ants,, Bugs in General,, stuff like that :/

  • Aren't cases like.... $20?

  • yuck!

  • A redneck web server...except I'm pretty sure rednecks don't know how to build a server.

  • With respect to computer components and radiation, I don't know where you've got your ideas, but transistors, resistors, inductors and capacitors (The building blocks of computers) give off no electromagnetic radiation bar Infra Red - heat. You are confusing digital electronics for transmitters - it's wireless devices that generate radiation that causes harm (Ultra Violet and more energetic + shorter energy packets such as X-Rays and Microwaves)

  • make it go boom-boom :D

  • The Mac Cube prototype.

  • lol cool the Frankenserver

  • Comment removed

  • why ...

  • @stevek1993 why do you need a case for the computer to work???? the only thing the case does is make it more tidy!!!!! ive got a computer that has no case..... it's just parts all over the desk but works fine!!!!!!!

  • @theultimatedestroy80 its best to use a case due to the radiation pc's give off, dont believe me? google it!

  • @EyesOnMeStudios thats for computers that run at 2-3GHZ!!!!!! the pc i was talking about in my previous comment was a very old one!!! ( pentium 2 @400MHZ) a p2 can't even kill a fly with radiation!!!!!!!!! about 3 days after my comment i put all the parts in a case for 2 reasons: 1 it was too messy 2 i needed the desk for other things!!!!! the radiation comes out of the cpu!!!!!!! and it can be bad for you if the cpu is in the same hight of your head!!!!!! :)

  • @theultimatedestroy80 older hardware is prone to giving off more radiation, due to the manufacturing specs of ye old day. The amount of radiation is not determined either by the clock frequency of the cpu but rather the quality of production of the parts. Most radiation is given of by the Motherboard. But in the case of the Pentium 2 (as it was a large upright CPU socket) it did give off alot.

The radition isn't a you will drop dead instantley, its long exposures will cause defects to cells

  • @EyesOnMeStudios well i didn't say old don't produce any radiation!!!!! realy all parts of the computer produce some kind of radiation(psu, motherboard,) but the cpu produces more than anything else!!!!! i've heard some things about new cpus but i'm not 100% sure if it's true... : if a cpu runs more than 3GHZ can be dangerous(4GHZ) but if you look on youtube you can find videos of computers runing more than 4GHZ(or atleast thats what they say) but what do you mean when you say * in next comment*

  • @TheTazzyT whats your problem???? why are you calling me an idiot????

  • @theultimatedestroy80 sorry meant to call the guy who said pcs give off radiation an idiot, not u :P

  • @TheTazzyT ok then!!!!!! i forgive you!!! :)

  • @EyesOnMeStudios *(as it was a large upright CPU socket) ????

  • @theultimatedestroy80 its a large cpu due to the architecture and the fact the heat sink is built on to it. aka its more exposed, allowing radition to emit from a larger surface area.

The cpu clock doesn't greatly affect the radiation given off, its more due to the FSB clocks on the motherboard.

If running a CPU at 4Ghz + is dangerous....i'm f*cked as i've got a quad core clocked at 4.35 Ghz next to me and its been clocked like that for the last 3 years

  • @EyesOnMeStudios idiot

  • @TheTazzyT No need to throw names around cause you dont believe it is true!

  • @TheTazzyT and its called Electromagnetic Radiation

  • Greatest home made server i have ever seen :)

  • wtf

  • thats looks really ni......... is that duct tape?

  • @WedgieEvans nahh!!!! :P

  • :D güzelmiş (good nice job )

  • who needs cases....

  • IDE Drives. Please tell me you've upgraded since 2006??

  • @avatarluke why??? whats wrong with ide drives??? i've still got ide drives and they work fine!!! and they are not slow

  • @theultimatedestroy80 Really. I get 550MB read speeds from my intel solidstate drive. you will get no were need those kind of speeds..... UNLUCKY

  • @avatarluke OOWW REALY!!!!?so what conection does yours have?? sata??? so what???and how do you know what speed my hd runs at????

  • @theultimatedestroy80 What a fag you are.... I know what i know because of my job :-)

  • @avatarluke lol!!!! fail..... :P

  • Comment removed

  • @theultimatedestroy80 HDD's depend on mechanical spinning, making them alot slower than Solid state drives, because they are fully digital. SATA is but a data cable. The only way you could beat a SSD is with some raid setup.

  • @killervalonz well yes!!!!!!! but i realy laght my ass off when i show my ide is faster than my sata!!!!!!! in win7 you can find how compatible your system is with windows......my laptop has sata and got 5,1 points.... and my desktop has the old good IDE and got 5,2 points!!! do you still belive that sata is beter than ide???? :D

  • @theultimatedestroy80 Thats because my guess is that you have a 5400rpm on your laptop (SATA) and a 7200rpm on your desktop (IDE)

  • @killervalonz yep!!! my IDE drive is an 7200rpm but i'm not sure for my laptop one but i think it is an 5400rpm one!!!!!

  • woa it's cool :D

  • looks quite nice ectualy

  • is that a dell 280 main board?

  • just a computer without a casing

  • @jantje246 duhhh, every server is a computer >< (there are only a few exceptions)

  • just a computer without a cassing

  • okay sir, i m very sorry...plz forgive me if u can

  • why u waste ur time in useless things.....

  • can windows home server run on 40gb hdd and if not can it have a hack to work on 40gb ?

  • @Macintosh3745 yes, 40 gb would be ample for a windows server.

  • wow u just made that of old computer parts

  • i also just pick up a few of these and when i loaded window server 2003,,,i went into my computer and my C: drive reads 1.77 GB but my Drive is 36 GB why does it read that way,,do you know anyone that can help me out with this problem.

  • O_o actually get some speakers and install festival, ssh into it and make it talk!

  • you should nail it to the wall

  • GR8 creativity, fine i liked it

  • the new getto 2000 server????

  • has it been hacked before?

  • NICE GLASS OMG

  • how did u did that boom ghetto style case can you send me the instructions ?

  • yeah, that looks like it would catch fire and burn my house down.

    -No Thanks Brah.

  • how did u did that

  • вот что значит из коробки, а я то думал :)

  • Dude, I love it. You make us rednecks proud! I bet it will leave "nice" looking and expensive servers in the dust.

  • its easyer to just use a laptop mobo (an old one) cause thats what im doing for a web server... 1.7ghz cpu 2gb ddr2 533mhz with a 60gb sata (no screen) runs at about 40-50watts and a pretty fast web server :D

  • неведомаяебанаяхуйня

  • looks like terrorist expolading device

  • @nitromanracer1

    nice comm! :))) you're funny! =)

  • @nitromanracer1 i think their called bombs...

  • @nitromanracer1: i think they are called bombs.......

  • @nitromanracer1 It doesn't look it to me with all the computer parts there like Harddrive motherboard & expansion cards.

SO how does it look like a terrorist exploding device to you dimwit.

  • @nitromanracer1 LMFAO

  • nice for cockroaches to ruin it lol

  • how you made that??

  • sick

  • yay scsi rock'n'roll !!

  • ITS GOING TO KILL US ALL, in counter strike

  • lol css is better

  • @oramn2 wrll, when i said counter strike i meant in general: 1.5 1.6 css cscz

  • compact

  • Is that legal? :D

  • @pl0xpk3 yes

  • @pl0xpk3 yea totally lol

  • Your going to break the fuckin thing! Get a real case

  • lol.....

  • Oh so this is why Antec no longer required your services.

  • @ecotts LOL!!

  • I like the case the most :) Very nice.

  • One phrase: WTF!

  • that actually runs 0.o

  • What's it running ect... linux, windows what sorta specs and stuff does it have, what apps, was AV and that, tell me bout it, whast its ip also?

  • Really cool =D

  • Frankencomp

  • I like it.

  • Were's the flux compasator.. I like the fan :)

  • wow what the fk a bomb

  • lol...mini webpage?

  • looks like a computer bomb cool

  • @dq476 WHAT THE FUCK

  • @Urbanearmusic google search "flipmytext". :)

  • @dq476 LOL!!!!! LMFAO :DDDDD

  • how much gb's u got? or t's?

  • And it looks really safe too! Hope no little fingers make their way onto that LIVE circuit board.

  • cyberpunk!!! XD

  • I want my server to look nice, that looks pretty ugly.

  • thats the redneck home server XD

  • that's truly state of the fucking ART! WOW!!!!!!!

  • good cooler :D

  • That's actually pretty cool, but it looks like you're suffocating your poor CPU cooler :D

  • lmaoooo....ghetto!!!

  • New fashion? haha.

  • There is something, very usefull which is called case..... try it ,you will not regret it!

  • sooo you can afford a server computer but you couldn't just spend bout 50 dollars on a case ????

  • lol true that

  • @shuffle953

function supersedes appearance. funny thing is this even applies to people.

  • @alder321 lol what???

  • @shuffle953 The Plexiglas was probably off the road lol.

  • @shuffle953 A case takes up more space than this

  • @shuffle953

Honestly, I would prefer the kind of makeshift case he made.

    1) it looks badass, and he can make it have customized cooling

    2) easier to work on the server when he needs to change stuff

    3) save money biach

  • @Jadon159 what about the amount of dust? and you can buy skeleton cases for like 20 bucks biach if you cant afford 20 bucks there is something wrong with u

  • @shuffle953

I was liking your response but by the end, you failed.

    I don't like you.

  • @Jadon159 how did i fail i just made a point? and you assume too much

  • @shuffle953

Oh you had a great point, you just executed it badly.

    :)

  • @Jadon159 well fair enough then :P
