Around 4:45, when you're talking about editing other songs voices etc., do you mean kinda like sampling or do you mean from an original sound database.

For example, I make a bassline in one song, I can use that same bassline in another song.

Or, do you mean I could take a song from a friend's EP, and remix that given the audio?

LOL, You dont know what you are doing. use wave files, then you can change the tone of the wave file. People, go look up wave files for sonar, then you will understand.

hey wuz up man..im having a problem wit sonar home studio 7....wen im recording my music and everythin nothin goes wrong..everything works right...BUT wen im converting it to a wave file and i listen to it..it has like a loud crash in between the song and in aloot of other places...

My friend, I have one question for you. I have this program and I want to know where I CAN FIND ALL OF THE INSTRUMENTS THAT ARE INTEGRATED IN THE PROGRAM. LOL, this is horrible, to all you kids who watch this...THIS IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE A SONG, this sucks, you are just taking pre recorded tracks and layering them, you didnt "MAKE" anything, your a joke dude....oh and when you were looking for the name of those "colored bars" at the beginning, those arent "instuments" they are called tracks, thats why the software is a mulitrack, GOD YOU'RE DUMB!!!!

Integrated sound cards are sometimes good, depends on how serious you are with music making, (:

Ram: No, not on a Mac unless it's a Mac w/Windows

PYSTAZ: If u're not hearing anything that means that u are not configured correctly

OneJam: No, not really 2.8gig processor speed and at LEAST 1gig (more is better)

I like how practical this tutorial is. That fact that he is not talking in musical terms at all makes so anyone who has no musical experience at all and kind of navigate through this. Everyone is a musician, but most dont know the language of music.
