Hey Wazzo. I work with Slade on occasions and Len often shows up for shows in the South of England when he's not on holiday in Bankok ... he likes it there. If you ever get over and are in London Len runs a jam night every thursday in Hatfield Peveral in Essex off of the A12 just past Chelmsford, there are clips on youtube. Suzi Rocks! She set the tone for Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, and the other Lady Rockers of the 70s and early 80s. And, she showed the way for a few male vocalists while she was at it.

Great lyrics, clean riffs, steady beat.. Just good old rocking out dance music.

*Pity the poor souls who are subjected to the Mindless Trash that RIAA trots outs today. There is nobody on Empty V that can touch this kind of music.*

Its a good honest rockin' tune,but hardly a classic...and as for how it shows how unimaginative todays bands are-with the greatest respect,thats crap.Dont judge noughties music by the corporate junk you hear on the radio etc..do some digging-you'd be amazed how alive & kicking the scene is.

This is actually a 70's classic now with the legendary drum solo and the overdriven to the limit guitar - and listen to the lyrics which are one of the most sleaziest ever written in rock'n'roll. It spent 6 weeks at No.1 in Australia as well. But I agree with you on the rest that you've written - kids are starting to value the older rock'n'roll styles now instead of the morose crap that the major labels are forcing down their throats.
