Obviously you're not crazy about GSN airing Dancing With The Stars and that's your honest opinion and you're entitled to that. However, I have only watched the series since Season 5 (when Marie Osmond fainted) so Season 4 is the only season in their lineup I haven't seen although I wish we could do without Heather "The one-legged ex-Mrs. Paul McCartney" Mills. Agree to disagree.

@jdelachjr2002 To be clear, I wouldn't mind this is they showed a little more moderation in how much they air per week. They plan on showing 26 hours per week (6 pm-4 am Friday and Saturday, 1-6 pm on Sunday). 26 hours of any show per week is a bit much, but over three days is insane. Alas, maybe I could be wrong. The ratings will determine that.

@wisp2007 If you mean changing GSN's schedule...that's a lost cause. They're not going to change no matter what I or anybody says. So I'm just going to enjoy the past rather than scream to a group that won't listen.

@gamelover1949 How do you know? Have you even tried? Or are you just assuming any effort will be futile? You have no way of knowing for sure unless you at least make an effort. I don't mean to be harsh, but it seems one of the only ways to enact change these days is to speak out. You don't like the way GSN is heading? Speak out, don't just bury yourself in the past and feel sorry for the present.

And after that, every time I gave them a smidge of credit for a programming choice, they took giant steps backwards after that. There comes a point when the old dog needs to be let go, and I have let that dog go now.

Maybe someday (hopefully soon), it WILL be possible to see something like Chuck Woolery's "Shopper's Bazaar" pilot from September 1973.

@germanname1990 From what I understand, producers felt that the game was too complicated. I mean, what average person knows how much adding air conditioning to a base model car costs, right? (Footnote: I believe the game did have a winning percentage, though.)
