  • I am constantly impressed with my own ability to spell Einsturzende Neubauten

  • * * * * *

  • @mcntsc thanks!

  • Who is the woman that, at the end, replace the asian actress?

  • @Mejnour777

i believe that's Anita Lane, who's actually singing the whole song. the asian woman is Etsuko Sakamaki-Haas, who sings the japanese version on the malediction cd.

  • I love 1:47. He keeps dancing around the woman as if he was fascinated by her presence, but never touches her, and when he gets closer he looks totally rapturous, but then runs away. Unfortunately looks like me, when I get obsessed with someone. Sorry for the bad english.

  • German Les Luthiers!!

  • great song, I never knew an asian woman could be this sexy, :P be my dandle lion plz.

  • Blixa gehört ins Guggenheim

  • Can anybody make out what Anita Lane whispers at the very end of the song? I could only determine the last two words: "....is me."

  • What would Dieter from Sprockets think?

  • liliaceae

  • I can't stop thinking of Richard Hammond when I watch this haha.

  • @stoache That is pretty funny, I see what you mean.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • My ex looked a lot like Blixa, hurts a little to watch this, but damn this is beautiful!

  • Anita Lane and Blixa should do more stuff together!

  • The German version is the best.

  • a performance again, Danke fur das!!!

  • ...is it just me, or does this seem like everything David Lynch has ever directed?

  • lynch, felini, dreams

  • What album is this on?

  • @TheAppletaffy Tabula Rasa

  • best use of intonarumori i've heard

  • Loslassen,Ruhe und Pause!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Art is so much fun. Because of these guys the world is still not a complete shithouse of vulgarity and mass produced entertainment. Oh wait..it is. There are a minority.

  • heliatus annatus :)

  • blixa is the wild rose

  • sexy rumori

  • The spinning lady's name is probably Leslie ; )

  • Blixa is like a sinister pixie in this. Love it.

  • the way he "la laaa laaa...laaaa laaaaa" is simply divine.

  • Imagen de Luigui Russolo... ! manifesto del arte del ruido... interesante

  • Who is the woman whos sing?

  • @terrario9 Anita Lane

  • @terrario9 The singer is Anita Lane. I don't remember who that is in this video though. It's researchable however, I believe.

  • For you I'd be a dandy lion.

  • @atr4ever Dandelion.

  • @toxifox I know :D I was trying to be funny.

  • love the russolo tribute here

  • wtf? what am I watching here?

  • @robcypher lololol nice.

  • the previous owner of my 82 ibanez destroyer wrote the name of this band(?) on the hardshell case that came with it. i hope he has cancer...

  • This is so twisted. I love it

  • Blixa is not a Poof.

  • was my favorite einsturzende neubauten song until I saw this clip.. :(

  • I always thought that at the end she sang: "Alexander Hacke kiss me". She don't but almost.

  • the greatest!!!!! funny and retarded sentimentalism at its best!!!

    GREAT!!!

  • industrial musiC is rooted as far bacK as noiSe/experimental music has been in back rooms or underground gatherings so to speak ..this video is clearly paying homage to the originaL luiGi ruSSolo as one oV the fiRst noiSe/experimental composers in hiStory as it is currently knoWn .....hiS firSt concerts wheRe in 1913 or sO....so to term a tYpe oV musiC as past a sale date is to limit your minds ability to understand things outsiDe the main stream funnel moSt are currently suCking off oV ....

  • vollgestopft mit freimaurersymbolik

  • This is so pornish, I can't watch this without blushing.

I'm 16 and I'm so happy, I found this now and not when I'm old as fuck.

    sorry to everbody who's affected

  • @Mo3kI pornish? what are you talking about? this song is the purest expression of love and innocence.

  • @darkRoyalty She's young.

  • @Mo3kI Good.

  • I simply love this song and the video as well. I remember when it was released back in 93...A long time ago...Blixa allowed his hair to grow, and he looked better than before...The whole band seems to be very cool, no more noisy tools or noise confusion. Blixa should have stayed with the Bad Seeds !

  • beautiful

  • I don't think that italian Futurist Luigi Russolo intended his Intonarumori to sound like this. But anyway: I find it quite emotional and great!

  • Though French and Japanese versions are pretty good, this seems to be the ultimate one. Anita's voice is so incredibly fragile, innocent, playful here...

    Love Blixa about 1:45 ;)

  • I loved this video

  • for you, i am a ugly cactus. supernova¡¡¡

  • @OXYUMAURUS hahahaa

  • Euphorbiaa blue dahlia, a black tulip

    that's where opinions differ

    the scholars disagree

My name, should you know it

    remains unspeakable

    and it's spoken - malediction

  • Is that Anita Lane?

  • @livingdeadpunk138 Yes, it is. And you can find it in the perfect CD: Dirty Pearl

  • @livingdeadpunk138 yes, it is anita lane on vocals and blixa's wife in the video.

  • chrisantemum

  • Blixa Bargeld is such a trip

  • how is it possible that instead of enjoying this music someone would instead discuss something as mundane as blixa's sexuality? the music always leaves me speechless..

  • good.................

  • lmfao

  • It's pretty cool how they recreated in the backround, from an old photograph of the very first speaker amplification experiment. Information society used the original Photograph from the 1800's inside their album "Peace & Love Inc."

  • I love it when she says 'little thistle', sexiest thing that ever happened ever.

  • Helianthus annuus, my favorite!

  • blixa is made more beautiful by the fact that he doesnt act like a macho prick man. hes feminine movememnts, almost feline are beautiful.

  • @Gpoet6 He looks like my brother xD

  • @Gpoet6 yes it's true... my first thought was that he is a cat

  • This is the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Words cannot express how this song makes me feel.

  • AVANTEGARDE

  • Бликса классный, красивый. Музыка нулевая в этой песне, но все равно сомешная и клевая. Клип доставил удовольствие. Но все время ожидала исподволь, что ему прилетит по башке этим рупором. Но как-то проворно уворачивается все время.....

  • Trippy. I don't understand their music, but i'm far to say it's bad.

  • @talissin

There is no music to understand.....There is some artistic action and physically beautiful people. But Blixa does have some very good songs. One of my favourites is "Ich geh jezt". Then you understand that they are good musicians.

  • so crazy- but- it is so.. i dont know, genial!

  • Das hat was.

  • What a fantastic work of art - fuses Futurist machine-worship with Decadence, circa Baudelaire's Flowers of Evil.

It opens up as beautifully as a clockwork tulip.

  • Love this video and the music, very original! One of my most seen video's at YouTube.

  • Zerkalofilms, la sua definizione è stata perfetta. E sii maledetto coloro che parlano solo inglese

  • genial

  • precioso, preciosísimo *_*

  • Why did goth wads rape industrial?

  • real industrial music

  • @theRCRchannel

    True.

Not like nowadays "industrial" music, which is just computer made beats repeated over and over.

  • @theRCRchannel Personally I just call it experimental, Id say "12345 Te Nacht" is one of the few actually industrial tracks on Tabula Rasa.

The term Industrial is basically meaningless as regards music IMHO, it simply refers to a long past its sell by date "scene" that no decent band would ever want to be associated with.

  • @aikighost

whats more industrial then smacking pieces of cement and metal together? they are just like a factory!

  • @aikighost Well I feel experimental and Industrial are kind of the same, however I feel Industrial is a bit more hard core like Skinny Puppy etc, though it all is experimental.

  • @theRCRchannel Thats just a label, if this have one is not that.

  • fast egal, was sie machen- immer ein hinhören und geniessen wert. und das seit drei jahrzehnten, einzigartig, genial,...

  • @schwulesmadchen i don't understand anything you said, exept the last word with wich i agree :D

  • @tflotutucc "Schwulesmadchen" wich means : gaygirl says : Allmost everything they make-allways worth listening to. for more than 30 years, unique...well you know the last word...

  • The group and this video are very amazing and poetic. einsturzende is the best. Sorry my english, i dont talk. Larga vida a los alemanes más oscuros¡

  • I miss the old days..:(

  • Es un bellísimo poético y de vídeo. ¡Larga vida a Einsturzende ¡

  • Very original; love it!

  • Very original; love it!

  • la nuit gothique on mcm, unforgettable

  • wowza! thats what i call a crazy video...

  • It reminds me of the futurist Russolo's "intonarumori".

  • fantastic, love it!

  • Very unique.

It reminds me the David Firth animations.

  • probably the most brillant and beautiful

musical video i ever saw, braaaaavo.

i got a version on wich the girl is speaking in

    french...its even more beautiful

  • @blackcheesyghoul you get all three versions when you buy the fabulous album "Tabula Rasa"

  • Estoy de acuerdo completamente

  • @Zerkalofilms could you at least traduce in french or english......i guess you said its an Appropriated Compliment....but i prefer to be sure

  • excellent

  • Lilacea is a picture of a Datura. its in the family Solanacea being in there with the potatoes , tobacco and tomatoes.:) Lilies being one fifth of all flowering plants, its odd they should chance upon the wrong picture.

  • Blixa has the most unique voice

  • «For you I am a chrysantemum

    Supernova, urgent star»

Wow, i like so much this voice

  • Que vampirezco :3

  • It's not quite clear to me what this is :)

  • The Futurists.

  • Brilliant music

Pretentious high school art class production values.

  • As someone who loves expressionist movies, like Der Blau Engel, Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari, Metropolis, Nosferatu Eine Symphonie des Grauens, Der Letzte Mann:

I still say he looks like he's auditioning for a road company production of Dracula as Renfield.

  • waa...

  • "Special Goth" at upper left delivers. =)

  • Blume was one of my favorite song on Tabula Rasa, but my fave was Headcleaner.

To me Einsturzende Neubauten will always be Abfackeln, and Strategies against Architecture.

  • I burning my iPod, leaving my keys and going out my door. I'm going to take a walk until my legs go out under me.

  • All Hail Russolo

  • on cocaine, not crack ;-)

    "Fütter mein EGO!!!"

  • People keep saying "effeminate" like it's a bad thing... I think Blixa's adorable.

And as for him being a "poof" I bet Blixa's fanboys would quite like that ;)

  • Well, he did sing the female part of Where the Wild Roses Grow... :)

  • @badluckshadow13 i saw blixa in person, he's not effeminate! it's only his style! there are disneychannel celebrieties that are truly effeminate even if it's not their style!

  • Russolo's room!

  • Black Tulip:

  • So great! It recalls me on Dadaists and on David Lynch in the same time.

  • Molto

  • Would you prefer if he was a masculine poof ?

  • then dont watch it? way to be a jerk.

  • way to tell him.... blixa is a god.

  • even though i couldn't disagree with you more, i do like the spastic itsy bitsy spider reference. but i gave you a thumbs down nonetheless. because, for me, blixa made the video. i've always loved his expressionistic dancing. plus you are just being downright mean.

  • love this song, one of my favourites on tabula rasa - but what's brilliant about this recording is that the video seems to have been broadcast as part of some 'special goth' program - i wonder what else they had on there? wish I could watch the whole thing!

  • haha me too. if they featured einsturzende, they probably had some other good bands.

  • the first thing that came to mind as I heard this song for the first time, was camille rose garcia's artwork for some reason..

  • The imagery of this coupled song is simply mesmerizing, don't you think? I don't think I blinked once while watching.

  • i detect some gainsbourg influence...eh...,am i right?(or shall i shut up)

  • yea, slowly bonnie and clyde..

  • oh I don't think so, no - probably you hear mick harveys influence and you mix it up with his "intoxicated man" (well done covers of gainsbourg)

  • no, not really - probably you hear the influence of mick harvey and you mix it up with "intoxicated man" (gainsbourg covers - well done, of course)

  • I feel like this on a daily basis...

  • gives me the twin peaks feeling

  • Fluxy Music

  • Oh Gosh! It`s so beautiful! Just can't get enough of this song...

  • Comment removed

  • Can't even choose the best version, I just like all of them!

  • haha

  • This is the greatest song to listen to just before going to sleep. It's so calming.

  • totally i listened to it one night right before bed. and i had the most peacefully sleep ever.

  • ich liebe anita lane´s gesang.

und überhaupt: ein sehr tolles video+lied :)

  • Luigi russolo

  • Very theatrical. Georgia O'Keeffe meets Samuel Beckett meets Bertolt Brecht all never having encountered Einsturzende Neubauten--if only.

  • great band

  • Ah, floweers..

  • is the plant in the video a datura??

  • That was my judgement, where lilies are spoken of... but a member of the tobacco family... Not a plant everyone should be familiar with.

  • The song is beautiful but it is much much better in french.

  • I'm not so sure. I like the French version alot, it has certain qualities which exceed this version but I think what ultimately does it for me is the fragility of Anita's voice in this one.

  • Blixa ist sehr gut

  • yes, i'm in agree: this video is really uatze.

    bye guys

  • amazing...

  • This is the most unique song/video I have ever hear/seen.
