    Great song great band

  • lips like sugaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar sugar kisseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss very good

  • Spacemen 3 !!

  • I finally found this song.

  • I would like to listen to a song of Echo and the Bunnymen called "Lost and Found". Please, someone upload this video, thanks.

  • Unfortunately, that one doesn't have a video, or at least I don't think it does. I love that song too!

  • I love this band ( :

  • Saw them perform this live in St. Louis during the tour supporting this LP (remember those?)...good performers - almost sounded like a soundtrack it was so good.

  • this song introduced me to echo. at the time in 88 it was really cool.

  • This band should be on Guitar Hero or Rock Band!!!

  • saw them at york racecourse in the early 80's, great band, still love their music.

  • It's from 1987, which is not the first half of the 80s.

  • What year is this video? I'm not familiar with this performer. .

  • first half of the 80's..not sure the exact year

  • when music was good

  • Ohhh my, that music doesn't exist...

    Perfect

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! He has a awesome voice! And the music rocks!

  • definitely!

  • Now this takes me back to days of"The Young Ones"BBE. And Gary Newman. Crazy times. Would not trade them for gold!!!

  • Oh if they could only make true alternative music once again!!! Wishful thinking huh!!

  • I used to confuse this band with CHARLIE SEXTON. Look up Charlie Sexton Beats So Lonley to listen to what I mean. Both are great. I love this song, thanks for posting it. 5 STARS.

  • Charlie plays here in Austin a lot. His brother Will is good too. Check out Bob Schneider if you hadnt before, he's pretty cool. Merry Christmas everyone!

  • will & the kill... you make me laugh

  • I love them!!!!

  • its amazing the song variety of the 80s, its the best

  • This video is living proof that today's media pushers, media makers and media listeners have shite for brains.

For living proof #2 watch "Talk Talk - It's My Life"

  • is it me or does Ian look like matthew brodwick...

  • What a song, what a band. Terrible to think that Peter de Freitas the drummer will be killed in 1989 in a motorcycle accident. RIP Pete.

  • I close my eyes and I'm riding down the Meadowbrook Parkway. I'm listening to the Malibu Sue show on the station that dares to be different.

  • 15 years later,i love this song

  • Great song loke echo and the bunny men and he has great lips too :)

  • This song is still 100 times better than 99% of today's "pop" music!!

  • oh hell yah! Have I become an old fogey?

  • Honestly. This is golden. Fuck The Jonas Brothers haha.

  • hard to believe this song is 20 years old

  • mi cancion favorita en todo el planeta!

  • GREAT SONG BY A TOP BAND R.I.P PETE!

  • 20+ years later, I still love this song. I was driving yesterday and this came on an XM retro station, and I was just grooving along with it. Fun. THANKS.

  • Maybe the best and coolest band inthe world!!Will Sergeant, a real guitar hero!!!!

  • Just which "lips" do you thinks he's singing about;-P

  • I'll buy what she's drinking....lips like Sugar!

  • Fucking love the guitar solo in this.

  • Always thought Liverpool looks great in this video.

  • FUCK COLDPLAY!

  • THIS SHOW CREAPES ME ! but the song is good

  • Great song!!! So many thoughts come to mind!!!

  • love this song. i never knew the lead singer is hot. or was hot. lol. nice video

  • oh---REST ASSURED...HE IS STILL HOT! Saw him up close and personal in September...and TRUST me...he is so beautiful it almost hurts to look at him!

  • Love this song, just love it!

And I think director Anton Corbijn often does not get the recognition he deserves, particularly for all the Depeche Mode videos he directed.

Oh,and I love that this song was featured in Dancing at The Blue Iguana....Brilliant.

  • good song, it reminds me of my ex who i loved kissing :)

  • i love this song. fantasick!

  • gooooooood song.....

  • oh yes they duuu

  • great song

  • Rest in Peace Pete.

  • ymmy

  • One of my faves. This video spawned a lot of late mac lookalikes but have to say me included, great style - ah those days of Petuly oil, leather, black drainpipes, dessies and VO5 spray gel! Carried on through macs Candleland era (ace albulm) but great cheeky shot of Pete, a sad loss of a brilliant drummer. Went to excellent Royal Albert gig couple of months back - shame about the couple of botherers tryin to cause a rammy at the front - pogo yes but stay off the speed, planks!!

  • at 3:50 they're wearing planets on their heads, FYI

  • amazing.

  • This song... SO 80's

Damn I hope we can have a time like that again

  • Heard this on the radio in '97 when I was holidaying in LA then the love affair started WOO!

  • i live there by that sign =)

  • mezmerising!! The bunnies finest moment wudnt listen to chris martin singin dis coz ders no way he wud sound kool singin this like Mac. Guitars awesome too

  • DRUVS STREVEY NIKTH

  • :15 = no thanks ladies, I'm in love with myself

  • LOL! He was and still is in love with himself isn't he?!! Totally understandable. :)

  • This is an amazing song/video and Coldplay are fucking boring shite who depress and bed wet the masses!!!!

  • Hipnotizante. Qué buena.

  • Recuerdo que habian muchas versiones de esta canción, long version, 12`, en studio, muchas. No recuerdo cual era la que bailabamos en las fiestas new wave. Solo recuerdo que esas épocas fueron fenomenales!!

  • My fav (l)

  • muito bom!

  • For the woman who has given me the most exotic memories, I love you Dora!!!

  • One of the best songs of the 80's!

  • oh yes.

    <3

  • haha...that was a reply to unbridledid's comment stating this song is "one of the best song of the 80s"...still is ... <3

  • he looks like the Sandman Morpheus

  • I totally agree.

  • i think its the leather clothes and the hair. McCulloch's a little old now, but he'd be perfect for the role if they ever make a sandman film. Lets hope he can act

  • I like this version, fuck-off to the other bands that covered this song. I love the beat of this song, kick ass.

  • i;m not one to be out of words but there truly are none to describe how great this song really is

  • I had this tape, and every song was great. Watch the tribute video I did using the Killing Moon.

  • I was introduced to Aqua Net by my grandma. She had a huge old lady hairdo really high on top of her head. It was plastered with Aqua Net. She use to get her hair done at a beauty parlor. The "rat's nest" story made me think of her. :)

  • For guys, it was dippity do styling gel!

    (Back when I had hair).

  • Don't forget the Aqua Net hairspray.

  • Haha!! I used Dep Gel and Aqua Net. At one point I used to use so much hairspray that a girl broke her nail trying to run her fingers through it. Of course, that's what she gets for trying to mess up a cool 'do!!

I probably shouldn't be admitting any of this. My kids might read it and lose all respect for me.

  • Aqua Net in the white can...no 80's hair-do could be without it. Also Stiff Stuff...lived up to it's name!! My punk friends with the big spiked mohawks use to use Crest toothpaste!!

  • phazers on stun, captain!

  • I like the space-girls with phazers!

  • brits attack! something to like about them in the '80s. what fond memories of my youthful days.

  • yep

    they still make aquanet

  • lips like sugar utter brill and its about kissing.pete is the best drummer ever.

  • THE OCEAN bLUE--drifting falling

    primitives - crash

    woodentops- stop this car

    the colourfield- running away

voice of beehive- I say nothing

the mighty lemon drops- inside out

    check it out

  • KROQ 106.7 Los Angeles

  • a leather jacket, some eye liner, and plenty of hairspray........ahhh, the 80's

  • (tear) sometimes i wanna go back, but I hate the clothes lol. I could do the hair though-a comb & a can of Aqua Net :)

  • aqua net...do they still make that stuff? i'm sure if i could smell it again, it would jog a million memories of days gone by. i remember everything i owned was coated in it. nothing worked better at defying gravity, even in the worst humidity, lol.

  • Ahhh, dating in the 80's, the scent of aquanet. combined with clairborne or pavlova...memories.

  • Yeah, I remember the big hair all right. One time at a party, a girl was swinging her huge hairpie all around while we were talking and it picked up my lit cigarette and it bounced around inside that rat's nest sparking the whole time and I couldn't get a word in edgewise to tell her because she was yammering on and on in Vally talk. So kids, please be careful with the AquaNet. Thank you.

  • wow, never saw this video with the aliens and changing color mouth before.

  • Great song from '87! Takes me back ;-)

  • Ahh, 80's New Wave... awesome times!

  • song reminds my first gf Rea..miss her wherever she maybe.

  • lips likeeee sugaaaaaaaaaaaaar

    sugar kiseeeeeeeeees

    cooolll

  • one of the greats!!!!!!

  • 80s!

  • He's got a lovely set of lips to go with that BIG MOUTH!!!Great band...

  • I like this video best so far out of the ones of theirs I have watched. Love the song but it is a tie with Silver for me.

  • Love this song.My fave from Echo...Good to see them back and touring again...Go Echo!!!

  • Jed-The-Fish @ KROQ was the best DJ ever!!!!!

  • esta bien chido este video la rola no se diga es una de mis preferidas vientos

  • if i just heard this song on the radio, i would of thought it was bono singing. this is my first time every listening to this group & they're pretty good.

  • BONO?! OMG! Ian McCulloch would go into a rabid fit! U2 was an opening act for the Bunnymen back in the day. "Mac the Mouth" never had a kind word for them.

Check out "Heaven Up Here" and "Ocean Rain" cds...wonderful beyond all reason.

  • haha, who's mac the mouth and why don't they like the boys from ireland??

i checked out those videos and they're awesome. i think i've found a new favorite band ;)

  • "Mac the Mouth" is what McCulloch, Bunnymen front man, was known as in the 80s. Used to slam Bono and U2 all the time...called Bono a "soddin' mountain goat" among other things. Said the members of Gene Loves Jezebel were all ugly and that two years in the army would straighten out Boy George. He used to say the most outlandish things...like telling his band mates they had his lips and face to thank for the houses they lived in!!! I think he was hilarious and sexy as all get out!

  • Well I just saw them live in Liverpool last month! Please to say he's still as mouthy & overconfident as ever. When introducing the full live performance of Ocean Rain, Mac stated: "This is, if not the best album of all time... it's better than most... " YA TWATS!

  • yeah, mac just love hating bono at that time.. and a couple of other bands.

    both bands are good though

  • Love this song...I actaully thought it was new! Until I saw the video...oops. Is there other stuff good?

  • Everything ETBM did was great with Ian. When he left, they went downhill.

  • There is something so very special about the Bunnymen and only a precious few seem to get it for some reason. But for those of us who do....aren't we lucky?

  • BunnE-Well said, my fellow Bunny friend!

  • I like how bands in the 80's emphasize the manly, sexy, raspy voice, as compared to the high pitched whiners in today's emo rock.

  • LOL

    FUCKING PWNED

  • LOL, totally! The 80s fucking ruled without all this Pete Wentz Good Charlotte EMO bullshit...I mean how are these people allowed to make music and actually sell it

  • Amen

I wish real alternative would return

  • when i was little i beged my sis to play this over and over again wow its wierd seeing it now

  • acknowledging all cogent comments... we all know who we are...no BS excuses...

    Frank

  • just blew my mind

  • lips like sugar

    sugar kisses

  • Great song - stupid video, but hey, it was the 80's

  • Coldplay is inspirated by echo

  • I only became interested in Echo And The Bunnymen about 3 years ago, I now have Ballyhoo on CD, and apart from Seven Seas, this is my favourite Echo And The Bunnymen song. I think Ian McCulloch sounds like David Bowie in this song.

  • I think Edwyn Collins sounds even more like David Bowie. Check out the video for Girl Like You. I think that's the title.

  • Bummer. I saw these guys in Irvive, California in 84. Great, great concert. It was their Seven Seas tour. too bad you never got to see them.

  • I'm flying from Florida to see them at Radio City in October! Very excited to see this brillant band!

  • who care?

  • Adoreei demaais .

  • An amazing song - one of my favourites. Oh, to be back in the 80's (musically). *sighs*

  • To be back in any kind of music period.... I'll the 50's 60 's 70's and 80's... hell the 20's ... any things better to the pop trash today!!!

  • I want to go back to the 80's. Love this music! Hate todays crap!! :( I hate being born in the wrong decade!!

  • jippii

    te amo

    feliz cumpleaños mi amor (L)

  • great song from the Bunnymen

  • Not a big fan of Anton's stark bizarre black and white videos, but love this song. Bring back the 80's.

  • agreed, but his film "control" about Ian Curtis was pretty great

  • I love the music of the 80's!

  • with those lips, Ian can say and sing everything!

  • I dig the Bunnymen, but does Bowie not have his finger prints/influence on all UK pre/post punk sound?

    Just sayin'

  • Pretty much, lol.

Especially Ian McCulloch. He used to have everyone call him "Duke."

    Fan, much? Haha.

  • It never dawned on me but you can really hear it here.

  • sensually fantastic! theres nothing like the 80's.

  • It's Friday now, turn it up and dance like now one's looking and sing like you dont care!

In the immortal words of Rick Flare........ "OOOOHHHHHH"!

  • I hear ya!!

  • Without a doubt one of the all-time sexiest songs ever! An absolute masterpiece!!!

  • The Bunnymen rule!

  • this one takes you back..... a great set of headphones with the sound up, close your eyes and...........

  • GREAT !!!

  • One of the best songs from the 80s!!!!

  • Thank you, this could be my answer to being w/ the man I LOVE

  • Great stuff. How I love British rock.

  • Love echo and the bunnymen...Ian is such a tease, gives you just a little taste of this and that and no matter how much you watch this video it is never enough...you just have to have more...

  • Anton Corbijn! woeh!

  • Lips like sugaaaa ---sounding damn good
