  • @77greent Well here's the thing. racism exists everywhere. I've heard that Australia isnt always accepting of Asian people either. I grew up in America since I was 14 and I had been teased and bullied cause I was an Asian and didn't speak English. So what? we shouldn't let stupid racism get in our way or our life. We don't take those racists seriously. If you want to visit Korea you should. A lot of Asians travel Europe even tho they know they are gonna be treated like shit.

  • @dladnwp I agree. There are racist people in every country so that shouldn't stop anyone from going to Korea.

  • Wow! This brings back memories! I almost drank Itaewon dry from 2002-2006. So many characters in this neighbourhood.

  • couples everywhere ...and if I go to South Korea, I'll be the only person who's forever alone, lol 3 wait, they look down at Southeastern asian? :/ I'm from Southeast asia as well but currently living in UK. I always wanted to go to South Korea and probably to study there but huh, I'm scared now :(

  • actually Korean men have their own purse as well.

  • @Jasminejwilliams1412 yeah.thats true

  • What's the nightlife like in Seoul, and what are Korean attitudes to drinking ? are the clubs much like western clubs?

  • @troytmkh If you like to drink you will love South Korea. Koreans drink a lot-24/7! You can also drink in public-no open container laws like the US. You will also see a ton of drunk people. I didn't spend much time in the clubs. Hongdae is known for its nightlife.

  • @troytmkh and drinking age is 19

  • 8:37

i bet the guy and the girl aren't korean.

  • itawwon i used to hang out in itaewon every night since i lived near itaewon

  • i heard they dont really like foreigners is that true?

  • @klzabc FALSE!! Most Koreans are very welcoming. I think they like foreigners. I didn't have any bad experiences.

  • @winthropalum

Yes, we like foreigners generally, but it depends on their personal.

  • @klzabc I am Korean and I know about this very well. Most Koreans are very welcoming and kind to WHITES. However they completely look down on blacks and Southeastern Asians. They are pretty new to race diversity and many of them think they can just be mean to them.

  • @dladnwp true that

  • @klzabc if you are from a country that is more developed than korea, you will be welcomed. ex) US, Japan, Western Europe, Australia etc. if you not, you will be treated like animals. TRUTH HURTS, Koreans, huh?

  • DO PPL speak english in this area?

  • @LeeClaxton I think this is probably one of the best areas to find English speakers because its heavily populated by foreigners..

  • The restaurants are constantly changing.

  • @willminkorea2010 everything in south korea changes constantly! Something is a store one day and a month later its a coffee shop!

  • @winthropalum It's a good video. You show everything and how to get there.

  • where do rich people live?

  • @jmnh2009 I'd say probably somewhere like Gangnam, Bundang, Apgujeong, samseong, cheongdam, Pyeongchang

  • @winthropalum thanks

  • Was this video taken recently?

  • @bsharpnack yes. March 2011
