I just ordered an entire new heting system over ere in the US. The plumber was telling me about this buildup in these tanks so I bought the indirect tank. Thanks for posting this so I can see for myself I made the right choice. BTW do you recycle all that copper?

That's nothing compared to what I find in Malta ! You can build a house with the scale build up in water heaters!

@lennonpolo Get a water softener! They are brilliant at preventing it and break down deposits already there. Regards PP
