ive had a 3s 11.v on my firestorm flux, windy day it'll back flip as soon as you go over 90kph, if you let off the throttle and hit it again at high speed it will back flip too as the tyres shrink
I had to make a metal plate to keep my bulkhead safe and its really thick metal so it keeps it down and damn wen all dat torque stay on the ground that damn thing takes da fuck off
lol, once wind and ground resistance on the front tires kicks in im sure it won't go over 85 in real life situations. those ballooning rear tires are also acting like a cvt transmission which is helping the top speed even more. never seen one on a dyno before :D
@dealwithit00000 wanna make a bet i had a firestorm with a mamba max with a 5700 kv motor 19t pinion 3s lipo it would blow the doors of a baja ss that had a 29cc upgrade and a big tuned pipe that had been radar tested at 90klmph the guy was not happy
Take it to the open flat road/track and use a radar gun, you can still beat the 102 kph, if you can control your firestorm at that speed.....otherwise, your video is too subjective.
That's fair enough, sure the wheels are going at 102 km/h, but during proper use you're spending half of the energy trying to push air out of the way.
You have a bit more to learn on fluid dynamics. Fluid dynamics is relative, like most other things in engineering. The air resistance is considerable when compared to the amount of power the motor puts out.
I guarantee you that the car will not do 102 km/h on the road.
Thats sick rolling road for rc great

Where can i get a speedmeter like this?
Or what is it and what is the right Name for it?
It is a gerat Thing and Video. Thank's

so cute, little dyno runs :P

i don think that this storm can run 102km/h in real
because my storm with 120A esc + 800W 5800kv + 2s lipo + 25/87 can run only 75-80km/h
sorry about my english
9569VLAD 5 months ago
@9569VLAD Vlad. they use a 3s Lipo. Which in this case gave the car 40 Kmh more. Try run a 11.1v. You'll be suprised.
TheStealther 5 months ago
it was whith standar motor and jus lipo battery?
Mxclown 5 months ago
@Mxclown Its a Hobbywing EzRun Brushless 9T combo with a 35A Esc. 11.1v battery LiPo
TheStealther 5 months ago
@TheStealther its actually the same as the FLUX version´s motor and ESC. EXACTLY the same motor and ESC
SKYLINEman1996 3 months ago
what battery is it i know its 11.1 volt but what make
phsycosniper8 5 months ago
huskede i, at når man putter en 3 celler Lipo i det EZRun sæt, så skal ESC´en jo have en kraftigere blæser på
SKYLINEman1996 6 months ago
@SKYLINEman1996 Den behøver det ikke hvis man kun kører i 10 sekunder. Heldigvis

Tigerbarb202 7 months ago
its not though as a dyno does not include aero dynamics its more like 45 probably...
RC4LIF3 9 months ago
@RC4LIF3 Aerodynamics has minimal effect on RC ground vehicles. Only with a STRONG HEADWIND would it decrease the car speed by no more than 5mph.

Btw, topnspeed was 78km/h, limit on that road was 40. ;D

110kph on road is about the limit, with added weight as well.
I know, because I've had mine upto 107kph actually on the road, with a GPS strapped to it.

my latest onroad tests with my firestorm clocked in at 107kph.
can you control it? no, will it do more? yes, if I can keep the front end down!

Mines faster :) and actually on road, not some stupid dyno that is nothing like real world conditions.
I win!
