naaa here is the other user of jgcsotn and i say my drain skill deck kicks dark paladin, hopless dragon, lightsworms, synchro zombie tournament deck and lots of decks that works with effect monsters if u asking how i kill zombie coz their eff activates in grave i just use dimensional fissure so no grave 4 them 2 hide xD

btw you can't summon dark paladin with the dark hex sealed fusion beacause dark paladin can only be summoned by fusion summon (sez in teh card)

but The Dark can be treated as one of the Fusion Material Monsters, like King of the Swamp.

Only half-true. You can't summon Paladin with The Dark's effect that summons a fusion monster from the extra deck. But its first effect just states that it can substitute for a fusion material monster if the others are the correct ones. You don't need to use its second effect, though, so The Dark can indeed be used to bring out Paladin.
