  • oh my goddddddddddddddd!!!!!!! que cancion tremendaaaaa i cryyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Joey should be nominated for an award for being one of the most talented bastards from the Detroit area Doug Podell would probably agree

  • @MajCinematic Weezer, Blind Melon, Urge Overkill, The Black Crowes, Sublime......they are not depressing, its perspective.

there will be depressing music in any decade. This song is okay, and Im not that bit a fan of the band, but to tar them as depressing is a bit simplistic

  • @MajCinematic

Umm....not really. You want depressing music rewind back a decade and go into the 80's and listen to the cure. That's depressing,

  • hey i found this band when 15 i think and no one knew them made me feel like i was in the know and yes very underestimated album

  • Sponge: definitely the hidden gem of mid 90's alternative rock. Anyone that really is into the mid 90's cannot disagree. This band is amazing.

  • 2 people should kill themselves for disliking this

  • @YesiAMpro Be nice, my friend. I'm putting out the memo, we're going back to Christianity.

  • Respond to this video...

     I don't mind underexposure, makes things uhmm...cool

  • They dont make music like this anymore..awesome song and band..

  • reminds me of Chance and I cruisin in his blue RS Camaro circa 1994

  • seen them one year at a summer festival an when this song started everyone started throwing water bottles and dirt clogs in the air, it went perfect with the song.

  • I dont know if anyone has discovered this, maybe, its been 15 years, but leave this last track run and there's a hidden jam. I discovered by accident then, when the cd ended and I forgot to take it off. Still listen to this album to this day, one song after another is great. I think I love "Giants" the best. Drowning a close second, but really the whole album is great beginning to end.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne so far my favorite is plowed i still have to look at more of this album

  • one of my all time favorite songs. it hits me stone cold everytime i hear it. timeless song

  • I remember this so well!! I heard the song plowed on the radio and ran to the record store to buy it!! still own it!! was searchin for something different and thats what i got!! one of the most real cd's i have ever owned!! these guys never even got real big, too much focus on tits and angst!! these cats wrote of love!! and pain!!

  • hurts my heart to hear this song, but this is also good for healing the heart. It's real. ;)

  • is this how the first wave of cure and smith lovers felt when they were near their 30's? i love my gen's music. kids these days dont know good music! now thats an old statement! lol!

  • first time im hearing this song. Has a nice U2/90's sound. This sound does bring back memories of the 90's. Damn....im gettin' old. FUCK!

  • The 90's were the best in music!!! Shit im geting old too....lol

  • Time flies man for real. Seems like it was just 1995 yesterday.

  • Love Sponge one of the best 90's bands ever! They still do shows in Detroit!!!!!

  • Is there anything left of that city?

  • not for people like you

  • got into these after my local did a promotional night fot rotting pinata, awesome album

  • what is this? the 5:00 version!? doesn't anyone realize this is a 12:00 song? theres a GREAT part after all of this! I love this song! someone should upload the whole version!

  • yeah.. except for the minute space of silence. But hey your right this song was 12 minutes long and bridged into a sort of ambient ending.

  • A hidden track, "Candy Corn," begins 2 minutes after "Rainin'" ends. This song is hidden in the negative space between Track 10 and Track 11. "Candy Corn" has a run time of 5:54. When the CD is played on a computer, "Candy Corn" appears to be part of Track 10, making the running time of "Rainin'" 12:57.

  • Ya and for me It says candy corn is 0:06 long with rainin having a run time of 12:57 (this was a 4 month old comment)

  • ... and candycorn is one of my favourite songs off this CD.. the opening chords are pure melancholy and sadness... remind me of mayonaise from the pumpkins btw

  • on the cd or tape or whatever this song has a hidden track

  • best song by sponge. possibly best song of the "era"

  • skyline well said sir! by far one of the best cd's to come out in the 90's, by far

  • Sponge's Rotting Pinata album is one of the best, most overlooked albums EVER!!! its a shame they didnt get the attention that they deserve.

  • @skylinegtr96 this is true

  • @skylinegtr96 You're right about that my friend!!! This record is absolutely ultra cosmic!!!!!! You're a fool if you're any kind of rock fan and don't own this record!!!

  • @skylinegtr96 fuckin A man. i loved Sponge.

  • awesome song! i used to listen to them when i was in my early sixties.

  • Sponge was such an overlooked 90's band. 'Plowed' was like one of the best songs of the decade.

  • Use to listen to this whole CD after a night of partying with my bro, back in the fun ass 90's.

  • did the same with a good drinkin/band buddie... nothing like a few joints, cold beer, some odd lights and this album blarring till 5am... Exellent choice not a bad tune for chilling on the album and yes back in the FUN ASS 90'S WORD to that... did you party at the studio lounge in westaland as well?

  • Great song!

  • love this band takes me back just got cd for 2 quid bargain!!

  • very! sentimental.

  • When everything's gone. When you have lost all that matters. And when people you thought you knew lie to you there is only the rain

  • The cool thing about Sponge is their communication of great Lyrics & emotion.

Check out the White album by Social D....
