Most of these people have insurance and yes, some will need help from FEMA(which most won't get because they are government and want us off of the island), but in the end these people will take care of themselves and their own. The ONLY thing these people want and need from the government is a levee to protect what is left. My relatives are fishermen, oystermen, and crabbers. The bayous behind their homes are their livelihood.

I have been to the island many times, I know many that live there! The people are poor, many of them can not read or write, they make a living by oyster, shrimp, or crab fishing! Although, moving off may seem like the simplest solution, for many that live on the island, its giving up the only thing they have ever known! Aljazeera can't wait to put down anything American. Note that these indians can't help themselves, their elders control the millions they make in their casinos, and leave the rest of the tribe to suck off welfare, much like mojados from mexico, I don't think sympathy for their plight as characterized here is warranted

The Sept. 11 attacks were not on white people. You know this as well as I do. Mexicans also died on Sept. 11.
The attacks were against our way of life, not white people's or Mexicans'; they were against "We, the people."
The last time I read the constitution I don't remember the words "white people" showing up anywhere. I'd recommend that you reread it yourself.

The Mohawk tribe would scalp you (cut off the top of your head and save it as a trophy) if they caught you trespassing in their territory, especially whites taking it into consideration after an english nun was kidnapped by the Mohawks when she tried to convert their native children into Christianity.

Native history is not part of common knowledge, silly, it has to been taught in an extent for those who wish to understand chains of events. Obviously many people who disagree with me didn't pay attention in their high school studies, or probably were never even assigned in advanced placement courses. I doubt someone in your neighborhood or any average person walking on the street would have any idea fresh information about 18th century individuals scalping each other.
