The kid will never be the actor or the gentleman his father John Carradine was. Carradine worked in a lot of schlock pictures just to be working. His portrayal of Dracula (even in a B film) was ten times better than Lugosi. If it hadn't been forKung Fu, nobody would even remember David Carradine.
@DustinKingFilms He wasn't a nice person in real life. I know of two incidents involving him. One was at a convention where he was at a booth with a stack of pictures of himself to autograph. I politely asked for an autograph for myself and my 10 year old brother who was with me, his reply was to "fuck off". It seems he was too busy with his crossword puzzle. There were still a few people at his booth after that asking, noticing this he told them "what did I just say to them? Fuck off."
@DustinKingFilms The other incident involved him coming in late for his own voice acting shoot, he brought his dog with him and left it in the engineering room where the dog was jumping on sound board equitment worth a few million dollars. Then when he got into the voice acting booth he had a cup of coffee in his hands and was flailing around doing the voice work, threw the hot coffee into the guys face, and instead of apologizing said to get him another coffee
@tj203 Never said he was a nice man. Said he was an awesome man ex. for his contributions to cinema. That's like saying Mel Gibson is awesome for his contributions like Mad Max and the Lethal Weapon series. Never said he was nice. Don't put words in my mouth.
@DustinKingFilms I'm not putting any words in your mouth that haven't already come out. I don't mind you not knowing these facts about him, I just wanted to point out that he wasn't such a great person as everyone thought he was. But if I act like a douchebag most of the time and make a few good films it doesn't make me an "awesome person".
@tj203 Hate to be the one to break it to you, but 99.9 % of the people in Hollywood will at some point in their lives act like complete and total douchebags. That's probably because they are hounded by everyone on a daily basis; ever thought about that?? I don't give a shit how he acted in his personal life and neither should you since he is dead. I'm not losin sleep over how he acted off camera. But I enjoyed his film work. That's what matters if you're an actor instead of an average joe.
Well everyone has there moments. Oddly enough, he isnt really an asshole here, hes just yelling at the guy about lighting it seems.

Grasshopper, seek not to contend. The supple willow does not contend against the storm, yet it survives. That's what the camera guy shoulda said.
