  • DQ's could work. but i do agree on that as a viewer, i dont want to pay 50 dollars to view a dq or countout. and a lot of wrestlers on WWE are talented, but WWE bans a lot of moves and trains their wrestlers to a specific style of wrestling which is why a wrestler from another organization making the switch to WWE may lose half of his move list (Rob Van Dam, Super Crazy, etc). and no...JBL IS NOT A WRESTLING GOD! hes talented...but not a god!

  • What about CM Punk? I've heard his moveset was practically castrated on Raw. As for JBL, I don't have anything for him, positive or negative.

    Anyway, DQs... I'm not a fan of them, but I'd like to see them a few times, so as not to have the people think that they never happen. Does that sound weird?

  • yes he does draw heat but it's not the type of heat that makes money it's the type of heat draws peolpe away especially when he'sthe main attraction on the card. smackdowns ratings/ ppv buyrates went down quick when he was on top and if he's anywhere other than the middle of the card he throws peolpe off.ted dibiase drew the type of heat that made you wanna pay to see him get killed not jbl

  • I agree with you hulkster totally, I don't get the hype about Kennedy. They praised his matched with Taker but, I personally couldnot stand them. JBL draws heat, but not money heat, sums it up. JBL is good, but he's far from a wrestling God

  • Am I the only one who thinks Randy Orton is having an incredibly weak title run? He only retains his title by DQ-losses or stipulations that heavily favour him. I know he's supposed to be a cowardly heel but compare this to the unstoppable push he got building up to SummerSlam.

  • Also, I have tips because your production is subpar. Put an apron in front of your table. It's very awkward to see your legs and your chairs, it's just not placeful in a broadcast. it will also help to cover up the ugly cords in the back on the floor. Makes it looks much more professional. it could just be plain black or red or something.

  • I like how Meathead interrupts Damien all the time, but when Damien tries to interrupt him, MH has nothing of it. I also think MH is delusional if he thinks his guessed results makes him superior or something. He simply takes the most commonsense route and then acts out when it bears fruit. There's nothing impressive about it.

    Also, I'm not surprised John Cena is wrestler of the year. He is the top WWE merch seller and he's the most over and recognizable from casual fans.

  • No it wasn't it wasn't. He had a short feud with the nWo in april after the brand "Split", even lost to Xpac at Backlash. The brand extension occured before this. His last match on Raw was on september 11th 2002.

  • We are lucky enough that they even bring up ROH so the chance of them talking about Shimmer is very low. Shimmer is a great promotion and IMO shows that women's wrestling as a sport can work in the U.S.

  • i agree with cossentino, a DQ or false finish is a big let down for pay-per-views. It's cheating the fans out of money. Pay-per-views matches should end with a real result.

  • Frank, I think you are referring to the "Grudge Match" show that aired in the early 90's. It was more a variety type "grudge" match show than wrestling so much, they'd even do food fights I think. And Buffer did the ring announcing.

  • Brilliantly said you pay for a PPV to see the winners of the matches, which is why I have always been against DQ or CO finishes on PPVs. If they want a feud to continue do a ref bump then screwjob ending which could have been done with the JBL angle sineatd of runing a decent match with a unsatisfactory ending.
