I've tried this and it keeps losing its momentum because of the friction and changing center of gravity from the blade and bite handle waving around. I can't get it.

I have a 30 year old Frost from way back in the day, should probably invest my money in getting a newer model, nice thing about this one though is that i dont ever cut myself with it... I'd probably have a better chance of cutting myself with a butterknife from the kitchen, but it is far too lose to do this with, it just closes on my hand everytime I try to do this

yes twisted4000. I too own a Spiderco Spiderfly, it is a design flaw and the handle recieves alot of tension and breaks. but it was their 1st bali so its not bad.

A decent one, like the Benchmade 42 shown in this video, is about 280 dollars. (I think) Check the Benchmade's website. I believe a balisong may be a gravity knife, in which case making it illegal. Anywho, I would strongly sugest the Benchmade Model 42, or if you want a trainer, a Benchmade
