  • I got a pay out from this thanks to my fantastic solicitor!

  • People jumping about on and near the tram, especially near the wheels, how many volts do these thing take? and you lot are dicking about, if you hurt your self, i bet youd be the first to put a claim in.

  • you stupid idiots someone could have been badly hurt or worse and your there thinking its a game??

luckily no-one was badly hurt as the tram wasn't travelling fast enough for any serious injuries to be caused but jumping onto the cupplings of a tram when you don;t know it is safe to do so is just asking for trouble

  • loko at these bloodys idiots that think its funny jumpining about a tram that has just derailed dont you bloody idiots understand someone coulda been killed or seriously injured and ur jumping about it like a bloody dog with a bone people like you disgust me

  • why? itl only be the people who are mucking about that will get hurt so theyve only got themselves to blame. we were all in high spirits after such a breathtaking gig. i myself had to walk back to mosside pissed as a fart singing videotape and feeling on top of the world, these guys probably felt similar. to die after a radiohead gig is to die a happy and contented man.

  • It would funny if they didn't understand electricity :o)) and the pantograph was still connected to the wire and no wheels on the rails, they wil be in for a shock everytime they touch the Tram ! Darwinism rules !

  • That was a bad end to an amazing gig! Took me hours to get back home after that!

  • I was in the carriage that battered the poles. Screwed me neck up and missed my train to Liverpool got back by 6 for work the next morning yay!

  • Gotta feel bad for the people who live around that area on a night like this... the streets were FLOODED... took me about 25 mins to find my pick-up

  • I feel dizzy now.

  • Bloody hell! I probably would have got on this but we got the bus because we couldn't arsed to wait in the queue! Glad I did now!

  • It was just inside St Peters square where Princess st is apparently it travelled like 50-60meters after derailing and the only thing that stopped it smacking the office building was the lamp post

    good times ...

  • heard about this..where was it :)

  • i lucked out... my bro was on crutches so we got priority place in queue for tram - it went and crashed, but better that than waiting around back at OT... was there much waiting around?

  • We decided to catch a tram in the other direction, cross on to the other platform, then catch another tram that went past Old Trafford so we were guaranteed to get a place. It worked but the tram that derailed was the one infront of us, so we had to walk from St Peters.

  • An hour waiting for the tram for this to happen to the one in front of us! At least people were singing 'Creep' on the bus we finally managed to catch instead.

  • I was on it, pretty terrifying at the time. Think they pushed to many people in and the tram could not take the weight bouncing everywhere.

  • the trams have more people on them taking man utd supporters home after matches,so they can take the weight.

  • Sorta missed my train home because of this.. lol.

  • not surprised the amount of people they crammed on them yesterday!

  • Holy shit man, that is pretty awesome!! So glad I left early to catch my train home rather then wait for that tram haha

  • you missed Lucky though :/ I think the tram people win here.
