  • Thank you!! I can't cook, I am terrible in the kitchen. Thank you so much for posting

this vid. I watched it a few times already. I think I'm going to try this tomorrow!!

  • @njpammy you're welcome! enjoy your yummy omelet tomorrow!

  • @a1angiem I'll let you know how it goes! I need to buy a spatula though. I'll get one at Shoprite. Do you have other cooking videos?

  • @njpammy Ooo, what's Shoprite? Get a plastic one so you don't scratch the non-stick coating on your pan. I have lots of vids - mostly baking but some other savoury recipes too! And yes, let me know! :)

  • yes! omlet craving satisfied... thank you very much :)

  • @LordVader5421 you're welcome!

  • You never said what heat you used. :(

  • @GogDog So sorry! I start out with a med/hi heat and then lower it right away to med/lo...and once the eggs start to set, turn the heat off (there is enough heat in the pan to finish the job).

  • tried my first time, didn't come out perfect, but came pretty dang close. Thank you for this video!

  • @Bennuhne you're welcome.

  • Im eating mine right now and if I hadn't seen your video my eggs would've ended up scrambled haha but thanks for the video!

  • @POINTZERO97 you're welcome! glad it worked out for you...enjoy!

  • make my first one today and It was good,,,Thanks for the video

  • @TheRamirez61 you're quite welcome!

  • I just made my first ever omelet thanks to this. Definitely not perfect but I'm pleased!

  • @3m0g33k That's so awesome! thanks for letting me know - it makes me very happy to know I helped. Keep working on your technique, you'll be a pro in no time!

  • @a1angiem I will! My boyfriend and I plan on moving in together sometime this year... learning how to make more foods will help me out a bit. haha ;]

  • @3m0g33k as long as he takes a turn too! lol! i've got lots of good, easy, starter recipes (dinners, muffins, biscuits, etc.) you could try!

  • @a1angiem haha he has cooked for me before so I know he'll do his part as well. I'm looking through your videos now! And I'm about to take a look at your blog :)

  • Thanks! I was bored and hungry, so this was helpful. xD

  • I'm never found in the kitchen! :) however i had nobody to whip my breakfast up this morning, so i thought i'd give an omlette a go myself. used 3 eggs for my 1st then made a 5 egg omlette they were both gorgeous its the first time i've ever attempted anything like it :) vids brill....thanks (although i'm flat outta eggs now lol ) :)

  • @chris83c1 Wonderful to know! So glad to hear you are fed - shame about running out of eggs. Thanks for watching and commenting - makes me happy!

  • Do you add milk to the eggs when you whip them?

  • @LadyBowie30 No. I don't like to dilute the flavour of the eggs. I JUST made one for my son 5 mins. ago! lol!

  • @a1angiem Thank you!

  • good shit.

check out my channel and music on soundclound.

  • It is good :)

  • Wow. My first time ever making an Omelette and it came out perfect. It was really tasty to :) Thank you for this upload.

  • Thank you! I hope it works!

  • I actually made one and it looked and tasted great. Thanks so much!!!

  • Thank you. i have made my first omelet today. My omelet did not come out as presentable as your but it got the job done.

  • Do you like it better with 1 or 2 eggs?

  • AGexOFxREVOLUTIONx same

  • tip for you guys, dont put hot sauce on an omlet :(

  • 2 eggs? Chick omelettes are weak.

  • hi. I tried this and I think I got it wrong. I thought you should show how to whip the egg before putting it in I am not sure my eggs were whipped as much as yours. Also how hot should the frying pan be? mine seemed to cook straight away and bubbled really quickly. dunno if I had it too high. I had the ring at number 6 which is the max, thanks anyway coz I didnt know how to do it at all.

  • @ronanosullivan just scramble the eggs with a fork...nothing special. don't have the pan too hot or they will cook too quickly and you don't want them to burn or get too dark. i start off on high then turn the heat right down or off. hope that helps...don't give up!

  • Thanks so much now I don't have to go to a restaurant just to have an omelette

  • nice video!!!

    thank you!!

  • thank you you help this stoner out :D

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you very helpful

  • Thank you, after watching your video i think i am ready to attempt this myself

  • Wonderful, didn't realize it was this simple.

    Great video!!

  • thank you!! i was hungry today at 10 pm and i decided to go on youtube and look how tomake omelettes.

  • OMG Thank you! From a single a-hole airport worker living alone.

  • Thank you soooo much! I turned out great!

  • I always seem to mess it up trying to get it onto the plate

I want one of those omelete specific spatulas that lift the whole thing up at once haha.

  • How I always did it was cool it so the bottom starts to solidify and put your veggies and stuff on then put it in your oven set to broil for about 2 minutes!

  • That's not how you make omlettes, you should be stirring it until it sets, let it stay a bit moist in the middle and then flip it over or wrap it, and most importantly, no color on it whatsoever.

  • now im hungry

  • omg... thanks i finally made a decent omelet.

  • @rivase69 you're welcome. Glad I could help!

  • Whenever I try to make an omelette, I tend to fuck up and make scrambled eggs instead.

  • @obbyplz you need to let them sit & set. Don't stir them...like in my vid, just let the wet egg run underneath...when as firm as you like, add fillings, then flip...cook a minute and eat. try again! let me know how it works out...

  • @obbyplz lmao me too

  • @obbyplz I had to google how to make scrambled eggs too.

  • you made my favorite kind of omelette,so cool.

  • omelettes are perfect for curing the munchies!!!

  • thank you!! i'm going to try to do it now.technically it's homework for me because i have a patient who wants me to cook him an omelette and i never have before. i've cooked everything else but not this. it used to seem intimidating to me but you made it look easy :).

  • Just made my first ever omelette, thanks for the vid! v. helpful!

  • Thanks Angie! I am a student, often starving and lazy, and this was so helpful.

  • @HustlerPumpkin and broke? eggs are full of nutrition and are cheap! lol! enjoy your omelets!

  • mine didnt fold so easily :(

  • @Puffechu you have to start with a small omelet...get the flipper well under it, just past the centre point, then in one motion, bend your wrist up and gently fold over, letting the eggs fall over the mid point to cover the other side. it doesn't have to be perfect! (and takes a few tries!)

  • this video actually helped me make my first omelette, thanks very much!

  • @airsoftmanic yay! perfect saturday breaky...we're having them today a bit later when the kids get up. glad i could help! enjoy!

  • Quick, easy, delicious, and satisfying. Thanks for the video! I can now cook an omelet. :)

  • Thank you so much cause i kept messing up loll !!

  • I wonder who was the first person that said 'hey why dont we eat those white balls that come out of a chickens ass''

  • @The5starSTUNNNA I KNOW! Sometimes I can't think about eggs too much or I cannot eat them...ug!

  • OMG i just made the omlet and it tastes delicious!!!!!!!! and im only 10!!!!!!!

  • thanks!! I nailed it on the first try! and I made French Toast for the first time yesterday too! w00t! haha

  • Mine came out wonderful! Thank you so much!

  • @Kinchi64 yay! that's great! and you're welcome!

  • Mine looked nothing like that but DAMN was it good~

  • 2:32 haha "So fucking good" shit looks like the bomb diggity.

  • I'm going to eat my computer because i failed to make this omelet

  • Mine turned out horriable when i tried to flip it it came apart... can u tell me what i did wrong??

  • @MayMay199719 It takes a bit of practice! You need to let the egg set pretty well first, then just get a good flipper under one half, making sure it extends underneath to the middle line of the omelet, then give it a lift and gently fold over. But it does take practice and I bet it still tasted good!

  • @a1angiem thx it did!!!8)

  • EASY AND FAST

  • Only two eggs?

    I make it with 4

  • very good video

  • Thank you loved it!!!!

  • my namis angie m too angela moreno

  • Thank you! It turned out great:)

  • Really wish mine came out looking that pretty, very helpful video :)

  • @Crimsonfur well, thank you. Did yours taste good?

  • @a1angiem Yes it was! I think my cooking improves each time I do it

  • Can you add vegetable oil? I am a noob :)

  • @jacklanting to the pan? to the eggs? you can use vegetable oil to grease the pan if you would like...or butter.

  • @a1angiem o thx!

  • Ah thanks for this, do you think you can add captions that say what heat the stove should be at various intervals?

  • @RedRing I usually start around medium heat to melt the butter or heat the oil...then add the eggs and turn the heat down a bit. once the egg starts setting I turn the heat off and let the heat of the pan continue to cook the eggs gently.

  • @a1angiem

Ah thanks, I made my first omelette the other day in an omelette maker using this video as help. It came out well, next time I'll try it in a pan for a larger omelette

  • ooooooooooo

  • I am making an omelet now (and i was going to make one anyways becauses thats why i clicked this video)

  • this is great cause i like my omlet cooked!

  • @lol4481 Really? I'm going to have to go back and check that...never noticed before!

  • Thhxx

  • Whooooooooooo im gonna make one right now!! YEAH!

  • @LowDrop Enjoy it!

  • yay...omelette;))

  • Thanks a lot for this, im going to try it right now :)

  • @SybilianShade was it yummy??

  • @a1angiem

Yummy yummy in mah tummeh! >,< hee hee.. was very good, i'll be doing it again thanks

  • okay so i tried this and failed i don't know what i did wrong...

  • @lovelikewoe4100 not sure what happened to your omlette... before cooking, Whip the eggs in a dish with a fork to blend the yellow & white thoroughly - you can also add a little cream or milk too. Then pour the eggs into a non-stick pan and cook them over medium-low heat.. if you use too much heat, it will burn the base of the omlette before the top is done cooking.

  • Thanks to you, I successfully made my first omelet!!! Thanks!♥

  • I did it!!

    And it's totally awesome

    But it's kinda hard;)

  • if its a women showing you how to cook then its all true but if its a guy dont bother watching the video.

  • YUM.. Im going to have only ham and bakon inside mines :)

  • I failed with the folding

  • I think im about to go make an omelet

  • so helpful, thank you !

  • I just had the most amazing ommellete! Thanks so much! For years I've been adding milk and this is the 1st time I tried without it. So much tastier! 5*

  • awesome, thanks

  • I made an omelete as soon as I finished watching and it came out pretty good except I messed up on the flip and the one side came only half way over.

  • i wish i had sausage >:( what heat do u set it on?

  • 17 people kept making scrambled eggs on accident!!! :D

  • wow i never thought of that...when i didnt know about this i had the kinda burnt he egg the make the inside cook

  • Thanks looks easy now

  • your technique is way better than mine!

  • thats a nice omelette youve got there..shame if something were to happen to it

5 mins later "what nooo, thats not onion on my breathe...its erm, its experimental toothpaste...yeah experimantal toothpaste"

  • t dont fucking work after 45 eggs it stll dont work

  • SCRAMEBLED EGGS AGAIN ! :(

  • hungr.....hungry must eat omelet xD

  • @miclo051 go! go now!...

  • @a1angiem you saved me from night hunger.... i thank you...

  • @xXxReptilex glad i could help

  • Hi, a1angiem! You're making me hungry! *Lol! Have you ever tried cooking the top portion of an omelette in the oven, then flip the other side to fold it? That could also be an option! Thanks again for sharing your recipe! ;)

  • @prettyquellie more like a frittata? yes, very nice! you're welcome and thanks for watching!

  • cool i made it for the first time ever and it came up very good like yours did

  • mines came out great taste good i fliped it , it just looked messed up lmao

  • I got the technique right, but I always have to heat them up in the microwave afterwards because they cook too fast and don't get hot enough..

  • lol

  • mine ended up as scammbled eggs :(

  • @MrBrandonBarker so next time...try letting them 'set' a little bit before touching them...low-ish heat. Then gently lift the edge and let the soft egg run underneath. Do that around all the edges...and then stop touching them. You can smooth off the top, pushing the wet stuff gently to the edge - but don't disturb the underneath part. Just go slow and gentle. By then it should be time to fill and fold and you will have an omelet and not scrambled eggs! hope that helps! good luck!

  • thank you i just made my first and it turned out awesome

  • So I totally got greedy and added too many things and the fillings couldn't cover and everything exploded LMAO. and btw can u tell me the heat u used as well? thanks!

  • @BrendanPanFlautist Medium heat to start and then I lower it right down when the eggs are almost cooked to melt the cheese (and then remove it from heat to continue to melt it)...the heat from the pan is plenty to finish cooking it. I bet it tasted good anyway! My hubby would do that too...that's why I make them!

  • why tankyou ladyyy (:

  • thanks so much helped me make an amazing omelet

  • Thank you! I was going make mother show me how but....she was "busy" XD anyway thanks a lot!

  • you're supposed put VEGETABLE oil not olive oil

  • thank's i wanted to make an omelet for breakfast but i didn't know how but then i saw this and now i know and it was delish so thank's

  • i made one this morning and it came out better than the last time ,(=

  • @prettyinpinkxoxo28 there you go! you'll get better and better every time!

  • helped me make a great omlete for me and my fam, thanks!

  • WHY DOES MY OMELET TURN INTO SCRAMBLED EGGS?? D:

  • its all fine until the part with the flipping

  • what tempature do you put it at?

  • i heard all of celebrities chef said if want to cook an omelet must pour milk. Is it true?

  • @WMVideos20 I don't like to add milk because it dilutes the flavour of the egg...but you can certainly add it if you wish...some say it makes the omelet fluffier. By making it yourself you can do whatever you prefer.

  • This was so ridiculously perfect and easy! Made my first omelette right after watching, and it was pretty good! Thank you so much.

  • this vid helped me so much THANX ^_^

  • I'm going to try this, I might mess up a few times. lol

  • Looks GREAT :O
