that host just dont understand cuz that song is far away from his generation. this is the new era and he is way too far from this year. try to catch up. there's a generation gap between that host and us teenagers.

I believe that Alanis' cover never supposed to be funny. It's not parody. It's irony. It is very sad, actually, when you pay attention on the music and the way she sings it. It has a point but it seems that people are generally too shallow even to notice that.

Alanis Morissette isn't angry... have you actually listened to her current music??? probably only Jagged little Pill and her music has advanced since... she has grown, moods have changed and her emotion is amazing. Her first album was actually called Alanis and brought out in Canada.... she released another album called Now is the Time... before her debut in the UK with Jagged little pill in 1995 she's been singing since she was 15, her debut being on you can't do that on television.
