  • You could probably loosen the throttle cable a little and solve your problem.

  • NerdeGirl: The vg30e uses a non-adjustable distributor so you can"t alter timing manually. It is automaticly set by the computer electronically. Only way to change it is to wipe out factory perameters by flashing the computer.

    Avafreak182: Your main problem is your revin' the fuck out of it when its cold. For real though check to see if all your spark plug boots are on all the way cuz thats the only thing that could have messed up from changin' the cap.

  • Why in the hell are you revving the shit out of that motor when its cold?

  • checked your timing? distributor has to be set for timing also...if you replaced the or even removed the distributor if it was not set the way it was pulled out then you need to redo your timing so the motor is top dead center at cylinder 1 and then make sure your distributor is set correctly ie set to fire at cylinder 1
