My husband and his family LIVED in CLAIRVIEW during the tornado that hit in 1987. His sister had to take the bus home fromLondonderry Mall to Frasier. She told them that the man hole covers where coming off and that the bus driver had to swerve around stuff. This storm isn't as bad as a tornado. I also been in a severe storm in Thorold ontario where a Tornado touched down. This storm was nothing.

Yes we do. on refinery row the h2s alarms double as tornadoe sirens, mainly for the gas plant but you can here them kinda through edmonton. also there are some more around the city but I dont know where.
