  • Wtf drummer gets slower

  • WTF !! Did they kiss at 2:37 ?

  • @Union0il1 you know nothing about what good music is..

  • I love this old school stuff! Slash's role models did a great job with him :))

  • Ain't Life Grand is the perfect example of 'released 10-20 years too late to be succesfull' :/

  • Oops ... Cum on my Keyboard :)

  • So great! That's like Guns in the old days! What a shame that they split!

  • great song, fantastic album

  • che cazzo centrano il chitarrista emo-frocio e il bassista punk (palesemente) in una rock band...io preferivo ai tempi di dover nel 95

  • Eric Dover is such a badass singer. Whatever happened to that dude?

  • @dwdrum1 He's in a band named Sextus

  • @dwdrum1 Wtf?! Badass singer?! He sings horrible & ruined the first Snakepit record!

  • @Hawkeye62158 Eric rocks!

  • @Hawkeye62158

    Rod Jackson wasn't even on 5 o'clock....

  • @TheKassie1987 I'm talking about Dover...

  • @Hawkeye62158

Oh okay cool, no I agree.

  • it wasent slashs day.... i miss the electricity in that peformance

  • fuck yeah!!

  • WOW really this is really GOOOOD! really im positive sayin that its way Better than Guns N Roses in 1993 this is 100x the energy

  • this band on stage, was one of my best hard rock concert ever seen

  • This song & this live version by far the best of this configuration of the band. The chemistry between the members is obvious & they look like they're having a lot of fun. Partial to Rod Jackson, love his heavy voice & those delicious R&B infusions...Slash is Slash steady Eddie...Great song...

  • I really wish Slash would hire Rod for VR.

  • @odgeUK not gonna happen, they had a falling out that killed snakepit 2.0 maybe eric dover will sign up :D

  • que buena banda la puta madre

  • Saw Snakepit 3 times in the late 90's until 2001. Rod Jackson has a powerful voice with a great range, he can carry the note for almost a minute, its crazy. Hands down, this line-up was better than anything Velvet Revolver related (and I've seen VR 4 times).

Maybe VR should just hire Rod, it will un-due and cleanse the weakness Weiland brought to Velvet Revolver

  • @mounthydra What´s the sense of firing one junkie and bring in another one?

  • omg what a powerful rock voice

  • axl disliked this video with 7 different accounts lol

  • just been listening to libertad, thought it was crap, listened to this and i think its awesome. hard rock not ponce-rock like velvet revolver.

some of the crap i listen to now and i just think...these are the same people as appetite for destruction but the attitude and the entire sound in the songs are totally gone. this is what i think of when i think slash. hes still awesome but hes lost his heavy rock n fuckin roll guitar playing somewhere

  • @thejungle87 no listen to his new cd he still got the rock inside of him.... I also check velvet revolver and i say fuck what happen to gnr, but if u see his solo album i say fuck slash still alive he is ust gathering with the wrong ppl he needs to get back to his hard rock

  • @farrex0 right...thats why this lead singer..Rod Jackson...needs to front Velvet Revolver

  • Which concert is this?

  • the vocalist is awesome

  • rock solid drumming

  • slash snakepit >velvet revolver

  • Fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • they gotta have this guy for velvet..

  • Ain't life grand is one of the best hard rock records ever!!! Why couldn't VR sound like this??

  • @JayAre555 Scott Wieland led them to that less agressive hard rock sound...slither was their heaviess..hardess riff

  • 1. GNR 2. SS. 3. VR

  • don't know why this band gets slagged, both CD's rock. Heaviest of Slash's stuff too. Guitar to the max. I think people just didn't listen....Slash is slowing down live now though, much more animated here. Maybe its being totally sober, or just age?...seeing him next week .

  • This drips pure rock n' roll.

To be honest, I wasn't entirely convinced about Rod Jackson on CD but he turns in a gutsy performance here.

  • i like the first snakepit better with dover

  • killllllerrrrr!!!!!

  • the band it´s very great XD

  • @DUKEMAGO812 i just read that comment, did you read what sleeler read. he didnt say he disliked axl, i like guns n roses as a band, but look how successful slash has become, not because of axl on his own, AS the BAND. Guns n roses at their high was the best band at the time, and slashes snakeput are like the blue version of of the band, they just rock pure and simple

  • GREAT singer!!! Slash what ever happened to him? Rod kicks ass!!!!

  • slash doesnt look like hes havin a lot of fun

  • What the hell are the rankings? Similarly, it's always subjective! I do not care at what point Axl and Slash are. I will listen, even if they did not place at all. For me they are just fucking great ...

  • This video is the best one!

Crazy Slash, totaly lazy... nice groove too

    So CerealKiller...

do you have other videos of that show? other songs?

    tanks

  • This is just exactly what comes to my mind when I think 'bout Rock & Fuckin' Roll!

  • @LiberationArmy holy shit same here

  • anyone relying on Rolling Stone to form their argument is a fucking moron. THINK FOR YOURSELF!

my top three guitar influences are:

    1: Slash

    2:Joe Perry

    3:Kenny Wayne Shepherd

  • You cant go wrong w/those 3.

  • Fuck Rolling Stone

  • amen!

  • HEY TributeToon, I dont know how THE ROLLING STONES would rank the top 100 guitarists, but Rolling Stone mag has Kirk Hammett-11 Kurt Cobain-12 Jeff Beck-14 Johnny Ramone-16 Jack White-17 Frank Zappa-45 Les Paul-46 Joe Perry-48 Pete Townsend-50 Eddie Van Halen-70 Randy Rhoads-85 Get my point? Find a new source for your lame arguments!

  • I cant get enuff of the music genius that is TributeToon. He sent me this stinging rebuttal:"Axl was chosen the 64th best inger of all times of the 100's list that the Rolling Stones created. stop the yapping" WOW I didnt realize that THE ROLLING STONES were the nielsen's of the music industry HAHAHA! This top 100 list you are using as a guide to prove AXL's greatness has Greg Allman-70 Steve Perry-76 Mariah Carey-79 Stevie Nick's-98! If you want to run your mouth do your homework first!

  • The band didnt HIT as moreno116(thats a type-o its moron116) because Geffen yanked them off the road and took away further funding of the band because Axl said he was ready to start working on a new GUNS album. Nice move on Geffens part. I hope the 15 yr wait was worth shelfing what was a promising band. Not like it mattered. Look at post GNR Axl compared to post GNR for the rest of the boys.

  • TributeToon talks about Axl being voted the 64th best singer of ALL time! He may be a top 20 FRONT MAN, but he's not even in the top 100 singers. With the right twist and turns of the knobs in the studio, the right person could even make TributeToon sound good. Have you seen Axl live? or I should say, Have you heard him live? And dont give me that crap about his singing style being HARD on his vocal cords. The problem is, he cant duplicate the vocal illusions that were created in the studio!

  • @sleeler69

    So your point is?

    Axl sucks?

let me tell ya, YOU suck.

  • Well Pukemagot812,you make a very articulated argument that I can see was well thought out. My point is-I love the original GNR. AXL was a contributor NOT the reason, for their greatness. He is a good frontman,NOT a very good singer! Post GNR has shown us that Axl needs them WAY more than they need him! The talent of GNR,CLEARLY no longer resides in GNR! I like Axl. As a character. he has charisma and a swagger that cant be taught. Unfortunately those traits hurt him more than help him.

  • @sleeler69

Axl is fucking guns n roses. Do you think that without him they could have get any further?

    hell no

  • That´s what you think.

I like Guns & Roses, well... Axl sucks hard. But i like this song much more than any GNR stuff.

  • @Ytsejam6doit no you don't like this stuff better than any GnR stuff, its a fact, look at Sweet Child O Mine, Nighttrain, Mr. Brownstone, Civil War, November Rain, You Could Be Mine. those all are epic, but yet, Slash is in them all, that's why they are all so good.

  • he said he likes this more and you say no? retarded? stupid?

    omg

  • I like this song more than all Guns & Roses discography. xD

  • @Ytsejam6doit what what!!?? xD Slash snakepit is waaay better than VR... but GNR... is GNR ;)

  • 1:35 that allways looks sick when slash does that with the guitar

  • What, play it?

  • This singer's voice fits Slash's guitar way more than Axl's..

but stil GNR is the Best!

  • this is the example for a dictionary article named "Rockn Roll Song"

  • I really love Rod Jackson's energy, I love both Snakepit lineups. They were an underrated band.

  • lol slash just keeps looking more and more like a younger person in Snakepit

  • Imagine Axl putting his touches on this song and singing it... it would've been a gnr staple. Still, it's a killer song.. but just imagine...

  • I agree.

  • It would have had a grating highpitched dying cat, and would have ruined it.

  • Axl would have ruined these tune. Rod's voice is 100 times better than Axl on his best day. it's too bad he didnt work out.

  • didn't slash say in his book Rod was a junkie?

  • @sleeler69 Axl was chosen the 64th best inger of all times of the 100's list that the Rolling Stones created. stop the yapping.

  • this song iS incredible

they make me remeber welcome to the jungle

  • Slash´s solos are WAY better in Snakepit than in VR, honestly, the last VR sucks

  • Snakepit obliterates Velvet Revolver.

  • great album, great performance

  • Richtig guter Rock. Das Slash ein ums andere Mal einen aus dem Ärmel zaubert ist ja spätestens seit "Always on the Run" mit Lenny bekannt. Hier das Teil rockt mir echt das Hirn weg!!! Mehr davon... bitte lieber Slash

  • gah the groove on ALL their songs is fantastic. they're just what I look for in music. shame it's a side project.

  • <3<3<3<3<3 rod jackson IS SOOOOOOO HOT !!<3<3<3<3<3

  • slash looks so tired, i think he is on heroin in this time

  • I was on Snakepit's roadcrew and I can assure you Slash was not on heroin during this period.

  • he cleared up just before or just after gnr split up and he's been clean ever since

  • epic song

  • This is Rock, Velvet Revolver is for gays

  • slash doesnt think so

  • Your a fuckin LOSER! EVERYTHING Slash puts his mark on is good.

  • F'in great! Rod is brilliant!

  • Absolutely!!

  • this should be the new singer in velvet revolver

  • Yes, sir! Love it!!!! Kisses from Germany

  • this song kicks @ss

  • i prefer eric dover

  • much more powerful than velvet revolver

  • I totallt aggree

  • @sicktkdchick Yes...Rod Jackson was frontman for this band...he needs to be in Velvet Revolver and front them

  • @TheWyldeSlash yeah, since myles declined. Rod sounds like he could pull that off, too. Still, Slash really needs to work with Myles more int he future too :P

  • @sicktkdchick Rod Jackson..the lead inger need to front Velvet Revolver

  • this song is great!!! LETS GET HIIIIIIGGGGGGH NOW!!

  • THis is great, Slash in top of his game, I always thought Rob Jackson and Slash made a great duo, too bad it's over. I hope they find a good singer for VR now, someone with a lot of charisma and voice power like this guy, and now badge like Rob and Scott.

  • Cool Tune!

  • at 2:32 did he say come on ottawa?

  • manowar...or ottawa

  • The only reason Slash and Rod stopped being together was Rod's drug problem. Rod is clean now I think, so they should probably get back together.

  • i like the 2nd cd but it is not as good as the first one. its still good though

  • i'v been told by soo many ppl that the 2nd snakepit album wasn't good... but this is a really great song so fuck them.

  • never listen to what anybody says abought music, nobody knows shit and this is fuckin awesome!!

  • so, does that mean people shouldn"t listen to you, because "you don't know shit"?

  • oooh big man can talk shit in a message board ,your a low life pice of shit go fuck yor mother and blow your dad ,fucking looser and keep your goddamn opinions to yourself, fuckin ass clown

  • Ha! silly girl can't take a joke....wow...did your daddy not love you enough or something?

Both albums are great in their own way in my OPINION...speaking of that...you said I should keep my opinions to myself...again...does that count for you too? Tosser! ha ha..oh & learn to spell!

  • like what u want m8 this song is amazing!!!!

  • this song rocks !!!

  • I just don't know WHY slash is not playing with this guy, THE BEST singer slash found in his career !!

  • I should have said in that post that Slash walked up to us during AC/DC's set. It was after Snakepit put on a great show. I was really impressed by Rod Jackson. I liked Eric Dover too, but Rod rocked the house that night. He ROCKED Mr. Brownstone and It's So Easy. With that said, I've seen some comments here. Eric and Rod were great. Scott Weiland is a legend with STP, so he's an awesome singer. No questions, he's kick ass. BUT, the only frontman for Slash is Axl Rose. That's the way it is guys.

  • well said

  • I saw this line-up open for AC/DC in Cincinnati. We were on the floor, close to the amps, and low and behold...Slash walks up. He has his hair up in a ball cap to try and disguise himself. Signed my ticket. He was so cool and this band put on a great show. My friend asked him where Axl was and I felt horrible. Slash laughed it off, though. I told him the Snakepit albums were good stuff and I enjoyed myself. He was really cool to us and watched AC/DC with us. It was so fucking rad.

  • shutup

  • i prefer eric dover, the original snakepit singer from their better 1st album, than this new guy, but then again, he still kl

  • robxx64 totally agree mate five o clock somewhere was shit hot

  • slash's snakepit much better than velvet revolver!!!

  • Rod jackson got much more soul than the actual velvet revoler frontpussy.

  • Yes right! Jackson is the right frontman for slash

  • i like this guy he should be VRs new singer but scott was a great fontman and a great singer u cant argue with that

  • meh i disagree

  • they sounded nothing like stp

  • Good song. I've never seen vids of these guys live, thanks for putting them up.

  • Rod Jackson new Velvet Revolver's frontman NOW!!

  • Rod Jackson new Velvet Revolver's frontman NOW!!

  • This is simply one of the best rock songs I've ever heard... that riff just keeps rocking inside my head!!!! I love slash!!!! Nice voice too!

  • what year is this

    like 2000 or something

  • were on earth did u get urs on these videos?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i neeed a copy of them! i cant find em anywhere!!

  • love this album!!! especially the title track!!!

  • go on amazon mate its on there

  • Fuckin awesome tune, just wish i could get hold of the fucking album!!!

    So hard to find :(

    Snakepit are ace

  • I bought it at the local warehouse for 2 bucks, YEARS AGO :P At first, I didn't like it, but now, I just freakin' love it!!!! Snakepit should be back together now that Scoot Weiland turns out to be the same big egotripper just like Axl.

  • i landed a promo copy by accident (aint life grand). its better than anything guns n roses have done and definately velvet revolver.

  • YER MAN!!!! SNAKEPIT! Every song, cept like two i LOVE!!!

  • the legend says that when slash did the first album of Snakepit Axl listened to it..and he wanted it as the next album of GnR..but, well..you know how it ends..lol

    Axl? Where's your democracy? xD

  • fuck yeah

  • I think slash is getting fat :/

  • haha probably just shitloads of vodka in his stomach or something x]

  • Yeah man he probably met my good friend Jack Daniel's.

  • he met it before you :D

  • Probably did- he liked Jack a lot better than me too probably before he had to stop drinking so heavily...doctors orders because of all the problems arising from his heavy drinking.Slash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it's the McRibs

  • that guitar was his '87 gibson right?

  • this might sound stupid but why was this singer replaced? was he kicked out or did he quit or what?

really like this shit but don't know alot of the history of this band,

    thnlkz n peace

  • Slash can always pull off an inspired solo. great.

  • SLASSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH is a FUCKINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG majorly fuckin BIGGG LEEEGEEEENNNNDDDD.... gosh he fuckin rox!..

    =D xox

  • spaccaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey, anyone know if Rod Jackson sings in another band now, or earlier? He's got an awesome voice! Much better than the moron that destroyed "Its five o'clock somewhere" with his Bon Jovi-voice.

  • dude five o clock singer is a so much better singer

  • Por dios y todos los santos que existan en el cielo...

    SLASH ES UN FUCKING GENIO!!!!

Que haces con un genio de esta grandeza?

    sentarse y escuchar gente!!!

    SENTARSE Y ESCUCHAR !!!

  • i reckon rod jackson the singer should have benn in velvet revolver lol

  • was kerri kelly not in warrant or something or some other cheesy band i think i read

  • where is that singer working now?? in what band<''

  • He worked with Razor Ball and made one album and now he played on Big Swede with Stefan Svensson

  • I saw them live in S.F at Slims, man, I guess around 00,01. The band was really tight and the show kicked ass. I did wish one more Snakepit album was made.

One more thing, the rhythm guitarist, I think his name is Kelly Kerry or kerrie Kelly, Damn, he must be playing lead for someone, he ripped it up at the show also.

  • awesome shit

    i love that fuck velvet
