...only OUTSTANDING bands are able to deny debut albums like this ... their 2nd life and following ones all derive from a brilliant early spark. Make no mistake, I love the black trilogy and almost everything that came after the panzerfaust period but Soulside is often played in my workchambers. As far as NwgBM goes, I don't usually make any fuss separating waters, but if some band deserved a place on the throne...well you know the answer...

I liked Soulside Journey. I love the Black Metal Goodness they pumped out and now they crusty shit they are putting out is great. Darkthrone are one of my favorites off all time
