@Lonehawk2k4 In under the red hood jasons costume was based off of Tim Drakes and Dick Grayson was never in Young Justice, he was in Teen Titans and then when the Titans reformed a new teenage team started and Tim Drake was Robin on Young Justice.

so.... u want a series that crap and u jus wanna watch it jus cuz its funny instead of watching a well rounded show with comedy, action, and an awesome plit..... it two episodes they developed the characters very well.... they couldt even develop good characters on the teen titans in 15 minutes.... plus where were the justice league helping the titans fight slade.... there were no outside justice league members on the teen titans at all

Plus they tried to make it too much like an anime and added so much silliness. I guess it was pretty funny but now its time for a more mature version and this fits the bill perfectly. and yea dont compare teen titans to batman the animated series. Im talkin the 90s cartoon, that was seriously one of the best shows ever
@SazerJiras Teen Titans was an insult to every pure comic fan that I know of. It was a anime pokemon, waterdown, childish version of DC comics that most DC writers wanted no part of. I always felt that series was made out of the context of the DC universe. Hell I would rather watch a Static Shock episode than that dribble that came out of Teen Titans. Please keep the anime writes from the DC world. Aren't there plenty of DBZ stuff to work on.
@pharze that's the problem with superheroes today- the stories rely to much on action and violence and drama. only a few superhero shows/movies/books/comics etc. have enough character development and comic relief to be entertaining to be actually good for most people to watch (such as Teen Titans, Power Rangers/Super Sentai, etc.)
@pharze I believ that's beacuse the show was truly aimed for young kids, totally diffenrent from everything done before that (Batman, Superman, JLA, JLU, all of them pretty serious, with few jokes) . And some writers enjoyed it. Heck, they even did a comic that was similar to it.
guys guys, don't think of this as an adapted young justice animated series, think of it as a young dc universe animated series...that's what it really is. and i think the title still holds up, it's just a little misleading because there was a comic of the same name.
@kelren76 DC comics had discontinued Aqualad story line. About six months ago he was brought back and this time he was black. The show is using the modern version of Aqualad. Also keep in mind this isn't Earth 1. Several characters are either back to life or certain crisis events didn't occur.

Its only been four years since the last season of Teen Titans, there's no reason to make this Robin Dick Grayson and not Tim Drake. .
@9753matt They've been given Earth 16 to create their own continuety. They're not adopting that of the the Young Justice or Teen Titans comics, though both will be adapted in some ways. The reason they're using Dick is because they've basically reset the entire continuety. The series is taking place about 10 years after Superman appeared, therefore it doesn't make sense that it should be Tim since he's either less than 5 years old or not even born yet by that logic.
