ive had mild tinnitus for as long as i can remember, only bothers me when i'm sleeping in silence - but i always sleep with the fan on so doesn't bother me at all
Ive had tinnitus for over one year now got it when i was 15 now i am 16, i feel like crying but whats the point it will make it worse. God i hope one day they find a cure and that my tinnitus ends forever
Mine's only minor but it gets worse if I hear doors being banged shut or if someone keeps talking at me too loudly. I've had it ever since I went to a gig where the music was so loud that for the most part all I could hear was a blur of treble, lots of hi-hat and the feeling that my ears were being pressured. Afterwards I had a really loud ringing which my friends said was normal because they always play too stupidly loud for the size of the venue. After a few days it quietened down but remained
does any1 have like im not sure if i have tinnitus but when im in silence.. like before i go to sleep i hear a screech then it gets louder and Louder AND LOUDER until its like louder than any rock concert or anything but it only happens when i cant hear anything else as in total silence? please let me know
lol, i have tinnitus. so after the ringing stopped in the video, i was like, OMG MY TINNITUS IS CURED because i couldn't hear my OWN ringing, and then i heard it again. damn. fellow sufferers of tinnitus: stay courageous my friends!
anyone hear about a new doc about tinnitus called devil's symphony? read about it on discussion boards and i am going to buy it so my husband better understand what i'm going thru...
this being a pain killer, that indeed kills the pain, but often causes tinnitus as a side-effect! Best go with Paracetamol instead, far safer on your ears!
Rock is bad for my ears! Anyone remember some of those albums in the 70's? The album covers often said, "Made to be played loud." Remember that? Should we blame some of this on Les Paul? I mean, it's not like it's really his fault. But he is the one who made the guitar sound much better, MUCH LOUDER! Pachelbel's Canon (classical version) is much better for my whole body, not to mention my ears!
I've had tinnitus for 2 years. At first, it was a really big pain in the ass. I got really despressed and suicidal. Im a bit more used to it now. I actually barely notice it, unless I go to a club (which I rarely do now because of it) then it's pretty loud for the next week or so. I've learned that certain food also helps, such as tuna and pineapple. Make sure and add them to your diet daily. It relieves it, believe me. Exercise also helps. Alcohol and smoking worsens it, so limit them at least!
i gained it while painting with epoxy paint been painting for a year now got it about within 7months mine was different worse it would flare up with no notice and after it died down i couldn't hear anything at all nothing but the noise dying seemed like it was almost coming from a million different angels like a 1.1mil surround sound ^_^... i took one month off mixed red wine an olive oil drowned my ear and went away now i am not saying you should all do this..Note:i am no doctor
The blessed sound of silence... ah I think I forgot what the is like. I suffer too... or at least I have not become habituated to it yet. The medical people say I'll get used to it someday. Ah, 1.5 yrs is a heck of a long time to get used to it. I'm not... any advice people? Keep the faith...
Ive had it for over two years, ive learned to live with it, and it doesnt bother me anymore, but still, I dont know what silence sounds like anymore =[
lol i have tinnitus since i was 14 im 28 now some how i just deal with the shit + i got costum made ear plugs 4 clubs and loud bars good luck and don't panic people sorry my englich is not perfect !!!
Im now 18 years old and i know it will be like this all my life long, that i will never go to a concert, i will never go under the sea, i will never drink alcohol again, i can't swim with my head under the surface of the water, i can't play guitar with amplifiers, i cant go to parties... And when i see my boyfriend going to Iron maiden concert without earplugs and telling me "dont worry it cant happen to me"...0_o
i think you took it a little took far.. you cant drink thats crazy talk, and swiming get ear plugs, amps and concerts get ear plugs.. i play the drums i have tinnitus i use ear plugs its a simple solution.. listen to the video
the first days I got tinnitus it made me more sleepy :( took me a week to come back to my normal sleeping hour ( midnight ). I couldn't stay awake past 10 in the evening.

Awareness=funding for a cure, if this nightmare is not known, or if people don't know, we will never see a cure or a decrease of Tinnitus case, which unfortunately are on the rise..
I noticed symptoms get MUCH worse after spending many hours in front of a computer for several weeks working on a Photoshop project. I'm suspecting that it is because of the CPU processors squealing at a very high frequency and somehow causing a residual ringing in my ears.
I've got a very mild case I think. It's consistently there but it's not very loud or prominent but when I'm in a quiet place, I can hear a very quiet high pitched ringing constantly.
I can only imagine how bad it would be if I didn't use earplugs at all. As it is now I use them for practices and gigs but I've never taken them with me when going out.
Wear ear plugs, take valum, drink booze, and stay away from loud noises. Stay away from loud noises and always carry ear plugs with you. You can have have specially made ear plugs made for you, they fill your ears with a liguid and it becomes a mold, then the ear plugs perfectly fit your ears. Take Vitamin B 12, Vitamin A, Magnesium, Maganese, Choline & Inostiol, GInkgo Biloba, Lipo-Lavonoid, and Valerian to help you sleep at night along with valum, works for me.
I have bad tinnitus in my one ear but it comes and goes, but the weird thing is if i put pressure rite below my ear kinda on my side neck it goes away. but when i remove my finger it comes back.... does anyone else have this??? Is this still considered tinnitus?? someone help?

I have tinnitus. It sucked really bad for the first week or so, but now I don't let it bother me at all. I hardly ever notice it unless I am thinking about it, or if it is really quiet.
You are lucky, very lucky, most kids getting this are on the verge of suicide!. Please wear protection from now on when in a loud show or club. If not, it will only get louder! And spread the word!

Me too! I got tinnitus when I was at your age before
and I lived with it since then. Only 2months after
starting this solution offered by the site:
StopTinnitusToday.info
and this is the only solution that made it better.
and after a month, it was completely gone. I
think you should try it also. It might help ur
problem..:)
