I always get the impression that there are some politics involved when Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder "share the stage" when they do this live. Eddie Vedder still comes across as the younger protege. In this duet, he is clearly the senior.

Just saw a Yahoo add that mentioned Band of Horses.Had not heard of them.Then I looked up Pearl Jam 2010 here on youtube.This video was the first that I viewed.

I was at the show and was totally surprised that PJ performed this. However, NO ONE sings this like Cornell and Eddie. I had the opportunity to see Cornell perform this song too and he just had the crowd sing Eddies part. Both performance were awesome though.

Speaking as someone who saw Cornell do Hunger Strike with PJ back in 2003 at the Santa Barbara Bowl, i feel Ben was Chris' equal in his performance of it this night! Great job!
