It's a little difficult to make the comparison that you're attempting to make here. I've seen what you're talking about. Muslims (and others) skipping verses and reading or interpreting the Bible incorrectly.

The difference (that I see) is that (and this is the key point to my argument) when these things are pointed out, they are dismissed by these people. Go to James in a peaceful or respectable manner, and let him know of these errors, and I bet you he'd be the first to admit them and seek
