This has got to be the best thing I have ever seen !! I swear it brought me to tears. The song itself is an amazing piece but the life the violin brings to it coupled with the passion of the violinist. I saw god.
She puts her entire heart and soul into a song. When she stopped to breathe at some point during the song, you could tell she was Breathing into the song so to speak..
What a beautiful performance! Thanks, dear bro Bry, for this lovely share!
This is so cool and freakinly awesome! The emotions she displays …. she can just feel the music so strongly in her heart - amazing!!!!! I am awestruck!

MAN,I CANT BELEIVE THIS IS THE SAME LITTLE GIRL WHO PLAYED IN THE 1983 MOVIE"EASY MONEY "WITH RODNEY DANGERFIELD AND JOE PESCI AS A YOUNGSTER ,DAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES
Getting back to Haydn, it's beautiful to see an electric violinist stepping on the wah wah pedal. I highly recommend the brilliant solos by Jerry Goodman on wah wah pedal violin in songs like You Know You Know and Miles Beyond with that first edition of the Monolithic Mahavishnu Orchestra. But here, Haydn plays with that kind of cosmic passion that you prat the musician can tap into. She tapped into it alright.
I'm also now looking for her playing anything Hendrix,...
Somehow I managed to never find about her until, thanx to a documentary on Free Jazz by Morgan Freeman and his comment that George Clinton said she was the Jimi Hendrix of Violinists,....
well here I am. I had the original LP Maggot Brain and listened to that long epic solo religously. Then in college, a guy from Cleveland asked me, "have you ever heard of the Mahavishnu Orchestra?"
Jerry Goodman's playing totally blew my mind; then Urbaniak, Ponty-so it's always great to find a new ripper!
Maggot Brain!!! What an awesome rendition. love it!

My favorite Lili Haydn moment.. Second is "Strawberry Street".
3. The scene in "Easy Money" with Joe Pesci, where she's
practicing the violin. "What's that your playing, Mozart ?" he
asks. "No, scales", she replies, rolling her eyes. "Scales, huh?"
he says, "Never heard of him." LOL! Cool she stayed with it. :-)
