Please dont ever let them in your garden unless theyre in a proper gerbil run and even then you must watch them. They are very likely to run free and you may never see them again, they will also die due to the fact other animals would kill them. Theyre tame, not wild too

If you get only one, chances are it will die quickly, you should get 2 or more males, and maybe only 2 females. Males seem to do better.

I have two and their names are Juliette and PopTart and they're both girls. If you get one, they're quite fine, if you get two, they will fight the first day like mine, but then they'll be the best of friends! They are very clean animals and I hope you get yours soon!
