i have watched this movie i think it was great story beside from them being brothers but they werent told at the young age of what was right and wrong and i guess growing up they thought it was fine and they were confused i think but the had a great childhood to anyway still love the movie it was so wrong in everyway but still great story not sure what the writers was trying to aim the story towards but i guess everyone has there say thx for sharing thought i share as well

Guys, this movie isn't portraiting any true story. I've met the screen writer himself in Rio. He's showing a fairy tale, people are not real and the story is not real. It's a romantic story. Everyone may agree or disagree, let's not make a big deal out of it!

I just watched this movie, and I must say, it is exceedingly disappointing. One would expect there to be more angst and conflict due to the forbidden incestuous homosexual relationship this movie is supposed to be portraying. Instead, there's none, and the problems they encounter is just like any other normal couples. They didn't explore the subject adequately. I prefer the kids part much more than the grownup part - where people are at least worried, and the brother is so sweet!

It feels like the scriptwriter/director wanted make a homosexual incestuous relationship just because it will probably attract viewers. I would think that such a relationship would be very much condemned and hence it should be portrayed as such, instead of making the world seem idealistic and everyone's fine with it because obviously the general population wouldn't be..

I was insulted by the "deaf and dumb" subtitle because I am deaf myself;

I think itwas made last year although I'm having a devil of a time trying to buy a copy.

This is a beautiful film. At first I reacted with discomfort but then realized that was only what society put on me and didn't make sense. When two people can find this kind of love, they'd be fools to give it up for any reason or anyone. I won't tell you the end but it's not going to depress you.

The world is becoming a more accepting place which means we all have more room to be ourselves... and love who we want.
