Acapulco H.E.A.T. was brilliant show but I still prefer season 2 - it was something special with smaller cast but more clever storyline in every episode
Not many people seem to remember the first season of HEAT. The show got better in the second season with a smaller, more streamlined cast of only four characters and a much better opening theme song.
Actually i don't remember much of Season 2. Back when the show was on air Season 1 would be on Saturday afternoons. Season 2 was on Sundays around 5 a.m.
Well season 1 aired back in 1993 so I don't remember it at all. I remember season 2 airing in the late 90's, and Alison Armitage and Michael Worth were the only two castmembers from season 1 who remained on the show, joined by new castmates Christa Sauls and Lydie Danier. The title song got an amped-up makeover as well.
@AbnerReyes007 I have no memory of Season 2 either, since KBHK-TV in San Francisco dropped the show after Season 1. To this day, I'm bummed that the Season 1 theme was never released as a single. But then, neither was the Season 1 theme to "In Living Color."
@44excalibur naw. Season 1 theme song is much better. It had a nice beat to it and it made you want to get up and dance. It had the house music sound. Who cares if it was more than two minutes long.
Sweet!! I remember this! I do miss A LOT of shows from the 90s! Too bad we are all politically correct these days. :( You don't see shows with hot gals in skimpy bikinis anymore...*sigh* Baywatch, Silk Stalkings, Black Scorpion, Wonder Woman, Benny Hill and Married with Children filled my eyes and head full of goregeous scantily clad women! Thank God for shows like that back then! Oh yeah, the gal in the bikini at 0:06 ALWAYS drove me wild!!! ;)
