dude, i've got a 2005 Giant Reign... and it's a 6" travel, pretty light... and it can surely take a beating. I've been throwing it through creeks, lil 15-20 foot drops... Stay with a Giant, they're well built bikes. I dunno what kinda stuff u ride, but i'd suggest a Giant nonetheless. Reign 1, 2, or 3
