Ron Paul is literally the only major candidate of integrity and actual knowledge, at least this time around he's garnering far more support. I really don't know what I'll do if we get another four years of rampant spending and continuation of these wars. I'm only 19, we've been at war over half my life; for the love of God let's end this and focus on domestic problems.

@LacobrigusRomanicus It was to the point where many didn't even know he was because of media exposure at the time. I'm just now finding out about him and I can see that was more fit, but I was fourteen at the time (seventeen now) so maybe my overall vision of that whole run was clouded (especially because of the media).

Mike said, "It (The Economy) may be doing great if you are at the top, but if you are a working person, you get an entirely different picture." Mike was clear that the economy was not doing well. The point is that his "colleague" Ron Paul did not say that the economy was great and in fact said exactly what Huckabee "claims" to have said. Huckabee lied that he was the only candidate on that stage to recognize the pending recession. And if you care to actually watch the whole debate elsewhere on youtube, you will see that Huckabee did not actually say what he claimed to have said. Abortion will always be needed. If it isn't offered, women, as history proves, will do it themselves. Whether or not you personally agree with the concept of abortion, it is essential to protect the right at the federal level. Not only because all women are free to make their own choices, but because women without a safe choice will make a dangerous one. And 14 year olds don't need to kill themselves during a botched abortion. Practicality and libertarianism at its finest.

@alulu8 It shouldn't even be a federal issue. has nothing to do with protecting us abroad it has everything to do with governing us domestically, a responsibility that falls solely on the state. NOT the federal government.

@erakus What? Protecting us abroad? It's exactly the same as the federal Civil Rights Act -should Civil Rights be decided by states, or should we all ensure civil rights are enforced and protected across the board? Abortion is legal based on the federal right to privacy. As we all support and respect Constutional Rights, why would Ron Paul take away a federal right? It's like saying each state can amend 14th Amendment.

Everyone - Ron Paul is great at most things, except for oh, respect for HALF THE POPULATION!! Every woman, every man, hold Ron Paul's feet to the fire when it comes to abortion. Just like gay marriage, not everyone, hell, most people won't get abortions. However, legislating women to have no control over their own bodies is unconstitutional, uneducated and unAmerican. Remember, the power of women, their bodies and their futures rests in their hands alone.
