Marlin is 73 now and has a mental handicap but is a savant when it comes to writing music. He found Gary in '75 and asked him to record this song and KB-2.

My name is Stormy (Atkinson) Fairweather and Gary Richard Atkinson is my dad. He passed away 1/30/10 in Conway, AR. My aunt linked this to me and I was blown away. He had given me this vinyl when I was little but it burned in a house fire and hadn't heard it since. Music was his passion and left a legacy of it in all who met him. THANK YOU SO MUCH for giving the gift of my father's voice to me today, it's been a rough year without him. I am so awe struck that others are enjoying him too. :)

@DodenSpiegel Jon...Thank you so much and please don't take it down.i just cant believe we are hearing it again.(after 35 years)We are going to look everywhere for another recording to it...Rest assured during that time in is life he was a wanderin soul..but he was at Springfield Mo..during that time. He wrote many more songs and had the most beautiful voice until the day he died...Thank you once again..for sharing it with us.
