  • awesome pics of the orb-man in this vid. i really want a nice copy of the one where he got a ponytail and is admiring a large crystal. where can i find it? thanks!

  • good music!

  • A comment dedicated to Goodbye2romance, a Youtube user who uploaded many of Roy's songs and had her channel recently deleted because of it.

Thanks for the music you shared and the time you dedicated to sharing it with other Roy fans.

If you happen to see this, send me a message please. Us Orbison fans miss your presence on youtube very much. :/

  • He lived his music !!!

  • This song is great! I also love the U2 one he did. Mystery Girl......Amazing!

  • I love that music since that I heard for the first time.

  • I can hear Tracy Ullman singing this.

  • Now only if my native Hip hop can catch the love vibe that this man spent his lifetime expressing, Roy, I know when u got up there, they had angelic wings waiting for you.

    Thanks for the many memories,

    Love ya man....

  • Real music from a master of love songs. Too bad he left us. Nothing like him out there today.

  • This what is officially known as MUSIC! Somehow some have confused those spoiled attention seeking brats who run their mouth in efforts to seek fortune and attention as Music. We will get music back someday people, someday................

  • I am 19 and I love this song, I this over Bieber and Lady Gaga anyday

  • An incredible singer - composer - lyricist. His contributions to the industry were many and will live on well beyond most. Thank you Roy.

  • r.i.p

  • i know hes saying baby but it sounds like Gravyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If Roy Orbison had been watching this years half time show at the Super Bowl he would surely have gotten up and went to the rest room to either puke or laugh.........

  • Freddie mercury, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley. Best vocalists of all time.

  • Thx for the great pics Kraftwerk xx Glenda-Marie London UK

  • elvis could do this! and elo!!

  • elvis could do this!

  • we loved this when my dad used to play it in his car in the 80,s it brings back good memoreys

  • one of my favorite songs

  • What a gentleman, more of us should behave like this man, well mannered and genuine, sadly lacking in today's world, very sad.

  • I wish that Roy was still alive and show what music is really all about

  • There's no one quite like Roy. What a voice, what a guitar player, what a songwriter, and what a modest human being! He was one of the true pioneers of rock. As for the Wilburys, well, what can I say? Five superstars simply started jamming and formed one of the best bands ever. Too bad Roy had to die so early. The "End of the Line" video gives me the chills at Roy's portion, when you see the chair with his guitar in it, and his picture. He died just before the video was shot. His music remains!

  • they just dont write em like they use to. You Rock Roy!!

  • 2:06 on gives me chills everytime LOVE it! x

  • @sullimonkey24 funny, i feel the same way now, after hearing this song for so long and knowing who he is.. Now i can say, he IS the man.

  • I don't like how people start comparing other greatttt singers to Roy Orbison.. I like them all. :)

  • Even though Johnny Cash is another Legend, Orbison is the real 'Man In Black'

  • Such a great Roy Orbison Classic and he cannot beat his singing! excellent upload with a great video, well done Thumbs up from Paladon.

  • He is a great Legend

  • Elvis was always number 1 in my book but gee Roy comes so close.

  • @hirdy6 Performers as disparate as Elvis Presley and Bono stated his voice was, respectively, the greatest and most distinctive they had ever heard.[3]

  • @carthuratutube I heard them quoted complimenting Roy's voice which is obviously huge praise, I just thought Elvis' voice was more versatile but it's silly to argue, both were pure silk.

  • @hirdy6 No argument intended. I was only adding comments from Elvis about Roy Orbison. I agree, pure silk.

  • The Glasses Rocks

  • PLANETS WILL DIE WHILE I WRITE THESE WORDS, THIS MAN WILL NEVER DIE,, ROY IS PURE ROCK N ROLL......

  • @Herniuspictures No I'm pretty sure he died

  • @jhoff016 No he's alive...

  • @Herniuspictures: Amen to that! Roy will forever remain the very best!

  • You know how they say "remember where you were when...". The first time I heard this I was sitting at a pizza joint in Kensington. Fantastic, I thought, the Big O is back. (He's never left).

  • Roy Orbinson was one of Americas greatest artist and he always conducted himself as a gentleman, on and of stage. His unique singing style helped launch the careers of other greats like Elvis Presley. Our loss i haven's gain...

  • This is the kinda stuff that put the usa on the map! Sadly when it comes to todays music Id rather listen to the Islamic call to prayer.

  • @TRUMACEDON Nothing can be as bad as that.

  • this guy was class, sorry still is class , not like the rubbish around today, love roy one of the best

  • @yperilmelyn you got it!

  • @yperilmelyn Respect all forms of art. Music today is not rubbish. Open your mind.

  • @Finite101 fuck off you prick!!

  • @yperilmelyn Lol, very sophisticated words there, clever fellow.

  • Comment removed

  • @Finite101 indeed yes you got it.!!!!!!!!!!!!! go and join the circus if you want to be a clown.

  • roy would've had the sourest throat singing like he does!

  • the "War Drums" in the Chorus is what MAKES THIS SONG {other than the Voice}, A CLASSIC.

  • Fantastic song and what an artist! Roy will be remembered when the X Factor "stars" are long forgotten.R.IP Roy.

  • Great song!! Love Roy Orbison.... RIP Buddy......

  • FANS OF ROY-elvis,cash,springsteen,beatles,ledzep,thewho,queen,thestones,dio,bowie,VHALEN,beachboys,cheaptrick,ozzy,kiss,carlosantana, etcc..........

  • @cennta and who has the most success between you and Elvis...................EXACTLY

  • I wonder why you very seldom hear Roy Orbison songs done on a karaoke, perhaps its because all his songs require a proper 'singer '.

  • This man was such a genius. I can't imagine the music world without him. R.I.P. Mr Orbison and thanks very much for sharing your music with all of us.

  • Roys the Best!

  • RAY BAN ROY . WHAT A GEEZER.

  • @longestroadoutofeden He was indeed a brave man.

  • I'm 25 and i think he was the sexiest man from the time he hit the scene big solo til his death at 52 in 1988. I love his. any man like him i will jump at the chance to marry or goldie hawn/kurt russle it. just want to be with someone like him.

  • Yeah man, this is beautiful song....... :)

  • Rest in Peace.

  • ahh!

  • I love this man and miss him so very much. To know he lost his two children to a fire while he was away talking about his home that had a built in waterfall at the same time the firing was destroying his home and his children were dying - well, I don't know too many that could cope with that. Most of you don't know - he also recorded a song called "Lana" - very upbeat. I love it - because my name is Lana. I cried for 3 days when he died and cry even still at times when I hear him sing.

  • @TXBluebird He was without doubt the best - no one can replace this great singer - I get a lump in the throat when I here him - Roy was the best.

  • This really is a remarkable song and production. Has that Jeff Lynne/Wilburys sound. The song itself is classics Orbison. It tips its cap to Pretty Woman here and there, and yet it is a totally free-standing song in its own right. I'll be playing it at a wedding next week. Great tune. I love it when clients pick good songs.

  • impossible to stay away.......let´s sing and dance !!!!

  • @badtoycartoon hai ragione...bellissima voce...davvero,cmq amico mio forse volevi dire"non si puo non apprezzare orbitson"ihih..xD

  • @acheron350 How right you are.

  • One of the best song writers ever!

  • The best voice i have ever heard.....Pure nectar.

  • waiting , waiting, waiting,

  • I have written about music for 45 years and was honored to be in the company of many of the top singers and groups of the that time period. In my opinion "The Big O" was at the Top considering his versatility in writting, arranging and performing. This record is a perfect example, it was all him and a hit nearly 20 years after he peaked with his many 50's&60's Rock&Roll hits. Those of us who met him will tell you that he was a humble, pleasant but private man. RIP Roy.

  • @rvictor64 Good comment - very true.

  • Dream voice.

  • I feel fortunate to have grown up in the 50's and early 60's and have music like this to listen to at that time. Those times will never be repeated again for any other generation that comes along. Sad but true.

  • i love you daddy. This song is for you.

  • those were da days

  • In a great body of work from a terrific artist, this song is one of my favorites. The soul in him comes right through and grabs you right where it matters - your heart. Thanks for the post.

  • great song one of the best from the best

  • Elvis supposedly said that Roy was a better singer than him. Elvis was right. Roy sings like like an angel. Out of this world! RIP Roy, may you have many happy jam sessions with George, John, Buddy, Elvis, Carl, and Johnny.

  • God Bless the 'Big O'

  • this song is much better then pretty woman

  • @therealgazza WTF?!?!?!? NO

  • @therealgazza yes

  • When i think of Roy Orbison i really think of an inspiring and sensitive person. He puts so much emotion in his songs that it is almost unbelievable and sad at the same time. His death was a tragic one =/ ! 5/5

  • Icon

  • Mr Orbison You got it !!!!

    The best voice ever!!!

    Miss you R.i.P.

  • whay a great song

  • wow i miss him so much i just dont get it he;s so talented his high vocals and i mostly into rap songs rip we love you

  • Aside from his voice, vocal talents, musical ability, all that, whatever, Roy Orbison is proof that people love a comeback. Especially a good, successful 1. Had Roy died anytime during the late 60's to the mid 80's it probably would have been minor news. His death in 88 made headlines across the world. That was due to his 87 "revival" & comeback. Personally I could take or leave him. I like a few songs, that all. But like him or not I acknowledge he was an extremely talented musician.

  • It was a day I remember as an African teanager living in Norway for one year, that our caretaker who was Algerian French told us that the greatest singer of all time just passed away. He immidietely started playing "you got it " I remember I was only 17 yrs and didn' t hear the song before that time but liked the beat right away - up to now, i still remember that time and how passionate our caretaker was - What a memory lane to take via Roy. Already god blessed his soul!

  • awesome... rip roy we miss u

It is very special to me because it reminds me of my 4 beloved grandparents, when I hear it like they did a little tribute. They have given me as much as what it says is beautiful song. Always wanted the best for me. Again I am moved to hear and to them I dedicate all my love. Thank you very much for your protection you should always follow me so much.
