Beautiful!!! Now just add an actuator to push the mass back down from the top of it's inside swing with just the right amount of force, Also, mold the mass into a smooth rounded aerodynamic shape like a banana shape rather than a rectangle. It can also be made wider to add more mass.
With that much mass (maybe lead?) air resistance will not be a problem. Its like resistance in electrical circuits. For a given voltage, the load with the most resistance receives most of the energy. In this case losses in the pendulum output will be much, much more than the tiny air push.
