Sugestions: If both you and layton are there to change his diaper, have one person hold him under his underarms and hold his clothes up, and change him standing up. It sounds crazy, I know. But it really works! Give it a shot!

My baby cousin does that when we try to change her diaper too, we just keep putting her back when she rolls away, and eventually she gets tired of getting put back and lets us change her.

with his changing my son does that too! We literally have to hold him down or he will never let us change him! my partner has to do it. We try giving him toys, noisy things. playing with him making it fun, ( which worked the most) but most of the time nothing works!

Poodah is just a nickname that evolved somehow lol! It was Fetus, then Petus, then Peedah, then Peedah Poodah, then Poodah lol! And it just stuck :o)

SOOO excited!! And his Birthday is a week b4!! So it's gonna be two solid weeks of presents basically lol! And our family goes ALL OUT on Bdays and Chirstmas so it's gonna be crazie! Y'all are gonna have so much fun!! Tripp was only a week old on his first Xmas and it was a blast :o)

I have been watching your videos for a while and I love them, but the fact that you just decided to go get some fancy rats (so random) and spend probably about $100 on a cage for them makes me love you even more! Haha. I bought a huge cage like that for my pet hedgehog I just HAD to have. :)

Yeah, I have a hedgehog too and he's super awesome. He just lives in a huge plastic tub though (I leave to top off). I was going to recommend a hedgehog for Tripp, but they're not a very cuddly pet, especially for a little dude. If you're anywhere as good as rat parents as you are as Tripp's parents you'll be fine! AWW ADEN DOES THAT THING WITH his eyes too. we call that "ojitos" and he does that lol aww tripp goes to bed early, luckys lol adens up maybe 6 hours at a time and only naps maybe 1 time if im lucky. i love u guys lol

my sister had a rat big rat with long tail & it was the best thing ever the downfall was after a while rats get brain tumors and die.. but overall i thought they were a good pet it's kinda strange to tell someone you have a pet rat though im sure tripp is going to love them :)

I know it sounds lame, but have you tried changing him in front of a show he likes? We did that with my son and it worked great. The other thing that worked, "which btw nothing else we gave him worked, but we gave him a baby wipe, and he loved wiping himself off and kept him distracted?! Hope that helps! I know my son did the same thing, and it was really hard! Tripp sure is a cutie pie tho! :)

Wonder Pets usually works lol! But it only lasts for a few minutes, then he's rollin over to the next thing hah. But milk works for a little while too, so I usually just have it handy :o)

Two, but they can grow to be a foot long! (Tail included) So we wanted to make sure they have plenty of room :o)

Jayden does the same thing when we try to change him!!!! He flips over and sits up right on his butt. the only thing that works with us is giving him something to hold that he's not used to playing with while we change him.

So, a little gal I used to babysit was the same way when I would try to change her. Found that giving her a huge spoon that she could see herself in would keep her occupied long enough to get the new diaper on. Maybe that may help?

Good luck with the rats! I had a ferret that was so sweet, he just wanted to explore your back while u were standing up. He never bit me(even if I had a food smell on my hands), he would lick them. I luv Tripp's scrunchy face. Its so cute. HAPPY (late) HALLOWEEN TRIPPY POO!!!

ive never seen a rat pet, but my cousin had mice and i picked one up and he bit me...and wouldn't let go. lol. hope rats dont do that

They don't. Fancy rats are some of the best pets you can have. Never bite, learn their names, can learn tricks, and are really cuddely.

I got my son pet rats when he was 4 years old. Everyone though i was crazy, but they really are great little pets. I would never buy a hamster! Everything you said about the rats being personable and playful is true. I would recommend two baby females. Can't wait to see them and how Tripp reacts to them!

I had two female rats, the males are actually better because they are more docile and will actually sit on your shoulder and stuff. The females are very energetic and hard to play with.

give him a toy. I had a trick with my son to get him to walk alone..We had a treat like juice or a sucker lol and we would put him inbetween us and trade the treat back and fourth and he would walk in the middle. It might work with tripp. HE is too cute. My daughter loves him

Hehe I love the cage! The rats are going to love all that room to play! And I am really excited about their names, too :) Leah has that same green nuby cup... but we got a transition cup like the one you showed in your video because she is having trouble figuring out she has to lift the cup up to get the milk out. I can't wait to see my son in law walking around, he is such a big boy now, I can't stand it. Tear tear! I love you guys.

I went throughthe same with a bottle.I breastfed my 23month old till recently and from the time she came out of my belly she would NOT drink from a bottle. it was hard cause I couldn't go back to work I gave up my full time job for her. Butt It was all worth it I loved spending time with her. I worried that if I had to go to the hospital how would she eat. I did have to go to the ER and My MNL actually had to bring her in there from home to eat. long story short I bought tons a Bottles!

not all my children went through this thing of rolling while changing. except for maybe two aout of four. i didn't worry to much if it was just pee but when it's the poopy ones then I would put my legs down by him and he would rap his arms around my legs so that would keep them still long enough to clean his bottom. I am now 31 weeks 3 days with my 5th im on the home stretch!

There's not much you can do about him rolling all over when changing his diaper! Hopefully, it'll just be a phase he gets over with soon. My son went through that stage and it was short lived! He may get better once he starts actually walking, he's probably just to interested in GOING!
