lol @ the talk about marijuana. So what? Everyone smokes pot, the only harmful factor of smoking marijuana is the smoke itself is bad for your lungs. The active ingredient, THC, is perfectly harmless. It's like drinking coffee, its not harmfull, just in moderation and have self control. Marijuana abuse is literally lower than Caffeine abuse, so think about that.

@09dodgem You sound like a smear campaign for the government. I'm sure you've done your research. Maybe the fact is that 'paranoia' and 'psychosis' are traits of brain conditions, not something you can get from smoking a plant that is untouched chemically. Smoking can't cause them they can just make them worse. Someone who has a family history of either mentioned conditions should probably not take any mind altering drugs, especially alcohol as it is by far the most dangerous drug available.

@rnjvajayjay Flea said that he and John smoked loads of weed while writing/recording Stadium Arcadium. Plus I've seen a fair few pics with him recording or jamming and there being spliffs around. Doesn't mean that he is smoking them, but in all likelihood he is.

i think its because he embraced his drug period as a life experience, he said that he wouldnt want to relive his life without the drug problems cause it shaped who he is today.

but ye its cause most of those songs are fuckin brilliant :)

well quite a lot of naindra lades and usually just a t-shirt was made before his drug usage, he just never recorded it until Flea, Johnny Depp, and other friends he had said he should release them.

he definately did record them when he was on drugs, mainly his 1st two solo albums cause they were done from 1994-1997(ish) and he got out of them 1998/1999.
