@557racing did you have it dyno tuned? or with a canned map. the reason i ask is I just bought one and and plan to put high flow with short shots. im stuck between SERT and PC. thanks
@BikerOnTheFly 240 is the model of the tire and not the size. The Shinko 240 is a skinny tire and smaller than the stock tire that comes on these bike stock so there isn't an issue with how it fits.
@s5vrf mine haven't moved since i put them on. There are a few things you can do. If you take a punch and tap allot of holes it will Knurl the bars. I used a little bit of JB weld under the clamp.
im not gonna lie dude i kept wondering if your wallet chain was gonna get caught in the rear end haha. but seriously nice bike man. im actually looking for my first harley and i was wondering if you recommend this as a good bike to start out on?
@AEpunk777 Even if the chain did jump over and hit the tire there isn't anything on a smooth tire and rim for it to grab anything. It's a easy bike to ride so if you've ridden before then you'll have no problems jumping on this.
I just got a 2011 48, and am seriously considering chopping off the back end like this and putting the standard bar on it. how much different is the ride?
@jankie55 Im not sure what you are meaning about the standard bar. Chopping down the rear of the bike and removing the fenders doesn't change the ride of the bike....But it sure as shit changes how the bike blocks water from the road.
nice bike

did you need to modify the rear to fit a 240 tire? I have a 48 and like the look of the 240 on your bike.
