i just got the guild wars trilogy for 10 dollars!!! no lie the whole trilogy its my first time playing it so i dont know what to be yet lol somebody give me advice
Do you need a good computer to play Guild Wars? I used to play Wow but on low graphics... is this about the same... or does it require more/ less computer usage?
do you walk around with the mouse or can you use arrow keys???like wow??? cause it would be lame with a click option like RS.i'd rather play RS on my high level than guild wars if they both are clicks if it is arrow key then i will go mad for it!
@waterattack You can move with arrow keys or with WASD buttons. Also, GW has maybe the best controls of any game, and GW actually requires a LOT of skill if you want to play it like a pro. I've played over 1600 hours, and I'm still learning to play it better (I'm pretty good at monking though, I've played most of my time as a monk which requires fast reflexes and lots of knowledge about the gameplay)

And with your words you just proved you didn't know how to play Guild Wars. Playing PvE isn't hard, that's right, but PvP is. I play Heroes' Ascent, and it's damn hard. You have to switch weapon sets all the time, focus on your positioning, trying to interrupt while healing others. And on a spike you have to cast Infuse Health in less than 1/4 second. Hard.

@michaelSS3 no theres no durability and you dont lose anything when u die... well you do get a death penalty which reduces your energy and health but the penalty goes away when you enter an outpost or town. so yeah you craft all your armor and weapons and keep em forever they never get destroyed unless you destroy them youself or sell them or drop them
It's a great game, I recommend it (no monthly fees :D). However the game names can be very confusing. Guild wars prophecies is the original, factions came next which links in with prophecies but isn't an expansion, it also introduced 2 new classes. Nightfall was the last stand-alone game they released, adding 2 new classes (doesn't come with factions classes). Eye of the North is the one and only expansion. GW2 is in development.

the game has no monthly fee all u have to do is go to your local gamestrore and buy one of the games (make sure its not just an expansion), then play trust me its worth it :D

that is correct, you only pay for Guild wars initially - a once off payment. NO suscription at all. There are some other little things like extra character slots and item storage space that you can pay for IRL but you don't really need them.

You can talk to people around the world as people gather in towns and outposts.
You should go ahead and get Guild Wars now, it is unsure as to when Guild Wars 2 will be released, it may still be a year or longer
I'm trying to recall how long my computer took to install Guild Wars the first time, and my brain is pulling up 3-4 hours, simply leave it loading overnight while you sleep :O)
I have been playing Guild Wars for four years now and love the game.

bardzo się cieszę że zostało zachowane tu oryginale udźwiękowienie. tak o wiele przyjemniej się ogląda (a nie wtedy kiedy leci jakaś kiepska muzyczka techno brrr)wspaniała gra. i bardzo fajnie że nie trzeba za nią co miesiąc płacić. tylko kupujesz i grasz do woli :) a czy mógłbyś mi powiedzieć jaki masz komputer i jak szybkie łącze? bo mam zamiar kupić grę, ale nie chcę mieć lagów.

jeżeli chodzi o kompa nie jest najwyższych lotów, ale gierka bez problemu chodzi na max. detalach (C2D 1.8, 1 GB ramu i radek 1950), co do lagów - łącze 3 Mbit/s :-)
