the part where it freezes constantly is where it really gets me. That part is very hard to do if you don't memorize the timing for it well.

Man... i miss this game.... i know it sounds slobbish and idiotic but i cant play this anymore because i lost the cords to my ps2 and my mats end up ripping... i have DDR Universe 3 for the 360 and it is sooo not worth it, i just miss this game!!

Same. The chart isn't that hard. To earn a AAA you need to get less than roughly 5 Greats. I could probably do that now since I play games with tight judgment windows like IIDX and my timing is much more accurate.

Also this was played through a connection to my computer which shrunk the size of my screen to the equivalent of a 3" TV

@sakur178 I used a tuner card plus an AV to s-video converter. It's pretty primitive hence the poor video quality. It's best to just get a capture card nowadays.

that's because it was released in late 2007. They released one it late 2008 called DDR X. the interface so so but the songlist is pretty good. plus they packed many characters in the game too. but if you were looking SN2 only, you will have a hard time finding it new. you can increase the odds of finding it by trying to get it used though

It's harder than you think. You won't find it as often since there is another one out after it and one being released this year most likely. I've seen past DDR's in places like that but I only seen that once before.

Whenever I do that song, I can only do it on the mat with Basic and Beginner mode but I can still do pretty well on Oni and Difficult... on the controller xD

i cant pass it in hyper master mode i can kinda do it with a controller, the end always gets me, I can just hardly do arabiatta difficult. i set custom modules for fascinations, without cut, and i play until the end.

I can get a B on beginner. ^^ You just need to practice in Training Mode. Start with a speed of maybe 2, with handclap. Then move up to speed of 3 with handclap, and so on. ^^ You'll get it eventually. It's also easier if you use the controller instead of the mat.
