Ye I got the same problem, I haven't played BF2 in so many years and I thought to play it again and I get that error message. I got it before when I thought to play it like last year....
The only time I could recall 'if' I cheated. Not cheats, but there was this Pistol and Knife server ages ages ago. But thing is I still played like halve a year after that since. I know that the server got shut down after the week of it (some got baned straight away). I r ember this guy was top of the leader board and he joined that server and he got baned lol. Since only went to it once. So not a problem. But is it some kind of glitch or something just banning people?
You have a permanently GUID ban and only PB can fix it ... But you must write to they and maybe thay will unbann you . BUT IF YOU WASNT CHEATING !!! 1 time your cheat deteced and you are banned!But it donąt help lot of timeąs ...
It says this: PunkBuster Permanent ban issued on this Game Server for player 'Bandito2' ... GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN f1cb120e, & it happens when ever I load the server I'm trying to play

u r not guid banned ..u r only banned from all the streamed servers ONLY..go check the ban list on PBBans(dot)com ..a new key will solve ur problem.

listen, when you have vista right click and play it as administrator, update pb by your own so do it yourself and update and reinstall latest patch

reinstalling pb or updating it is how you fix the problem...

I know for a fact that I did not get banned, because I don't cheat(even though I suck at BF2)So any other helpful comments would be really helpful
