having listened to this song literally hundreds of times. I'm pretty sure that you've gotten the lyrics wrong. Substitute "fears sure" with "fissure". I think you will find that it makes far more sense. You know, cracks in the walls as opposed to fear? Anyway great tune by a true icon. I rather listen to Marianne that Mick these days.
