  • @therhythmofchris funnier than your mom in bed :/

  • @sveppi73 Ohhhh! i'm so offended. #hater

  • 0:33

heh heh... he said venereal disease

  • Nosferatu>Edward

  • nigga I'm sleepin !

  • Great movie but shit quality!

  • Then who was flickering the lights?

  • wow, now i really hate twighlight

  • the music doesn't really fit this scene. there should be a type of music that represents how surprised and horrified the man is when he see's the face in the coffin.

  • I'd be like damn dude lets get the fuck out of here this mother fucker some scary ass shot

  • i bet all actors are dead xD

  • then who was flickering the lights...

  • 0:54 Hell yeah, thats how we climbed up stairs oldschool

  • Who opens coffins?!

  • If It Was Me, I Would Be Scared To F****** Death

  • I really Could care less about That stupid little fucker Spongebob if You still watch spongebob go talk about it somewhere else This is Horror Movies =.=

  • @theanimefreak22222 Spongebob is awesome, anime and horror movies are meh

  • I did

  • Who found out about him by Spongebob

  • What did I say ? I Cant find the message ... must be from awhile ago . Oh well sorry about it , anyhow enjoy the clip . I mentioned slipknot, ew must be an old comment , I despise metalcore .

  • when the guy opens the coffin, nosferatu is like "BALLZ TO YOU!"

  • ppl must have been superdramatic in 1922...

  • Honestly, I didn't hear this from spongebob first... I heard it first from a song by type o negative.

  • Nosferatu, please come back and kill Edward Cullen.

    Love,

    Everybody.

  • @UberNoob33 and kill jacob black too.

  • Is this the original music to this scene? Can someone tell me who it's by?

    Cheers

  • When reading the book I always just picture a bearded man with a cruel smile and open eyes and when Harker tried to hit him with the shovel his head unconsciously snaps to the side to defend the body. He doesn't even need to do that here. The even more hideous and terrifying visage of Dracula (Orlok in the movie but it is technically Dracula same with Hutter/Harker) is enough to send Harker running away without coming back. Even asleep he's the stuff of nightmares.

  • @shadowofslipknot555 Yeah, I know. I see where your coming from. But you have to understand, just because it was scary then, doesn't mean it's scary now. It's like saying if you put the song 'Maniac' by Micheal Sembello in a movie, people aren't going to laugh. It might have been cool in the 80's, but it's hilarious now. It's just a comment, you don't have to go all crazy...

  • @shadowofslipknot555 lmfao. Go suck a dick. I didn't ask what the hell it mean't to them. I just commented dumb fuck.

  • then who was flickering the lights? Nosferatu!

  • THUMBS UP IF SPONGEBOB SENT U HERE!

  • I can't believe this movie was actually horror. lOl The backround music just makes me laugh.

  • i think they should film all scary movies with antique cameras theyre so scary!

  • if i saw that i would take a wooden steak and stabbed him before he would wake up

  • @smallyoville Dead.....!!

  • I love this version of the soundtrack. Very fitting.

  • Wait... if it was you on the phone... and you on the bus... then... who was flickering the lights?

    NOSFERATU :D

  • @Suzzyta Faaaaaiiilll.

Acting was a lot harder in the 1920's. You had to actually have TALENT, you couldn't rely on special effects to do the work for you. I mean, look at Twilight. Behind all the fancy CGI and makeup you have people who were high while they were "acting." True acting is a lost art.

  • @Suzzyta What are you talking about?

  • @Suzzyta

Your as ignorant as a 1 day old slug..

  • Somehow, the music seems....unfitting.

  • @itsbankaibitch I agree. The music made me want to tap my foot and snap my fingers.

  • 0:32 hello bitch!

  • i want this movie so bad!!

  • still the scariest vampire movie ever.

  • I always thought I looked like Nosfortu.

  • Orlok would kick Edward Cullen's ass.

  • such a shame that this movie is mute , it would've a perfect movie if it only had sound.

  • every dracula movie always was him on a boat to germany

  • thanks for uploading i have never seen this film and now its hooked me in

  • SPONGEBOB!!!!!=D

  • @JAXTERWARS27

Ah, back when Nosfertu was doing his own shows and before he applied for a job with Spongebob.

  • @JAXTERWARS27 ugh the worst show ever

  • @JAXTERWARS27 O YEA THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT EPISODE WHERE HE WAS BLINKING THE LIGHTS

  • i just shit myself! creepiest Vamp movie ever!

  • classic!!!

  • Hey everybody. I'm sure you all have a better knowledge of Nosferatu than I. I saw a film that was actually a story of the making of this film. It was fairly recent (compared to 1922). The only problem is, I can't find the name of the movie Anywhere ! Can somebody help ?

  • its called Shadow of the Vampire it came out in 2000

  • Yeah, with Willem Dafoe. I didn´t like it very much. It was kind of dull....

  • Unbelievable: this is one of the oldest films ever appeared, and still it fills you with fear and anguish. An immortal masterpiece this is, just like Count Orlok. Only few other vampires could match the presence and richness of such a terrifying character, and those COULD be: Kinski's Nosferatu, Leanderson's Eli and Oldman's Dracula

  • @pietroerperugino and elziabeth bathory

    lestat and edward cullin {before twilight}

  • and thats not here lolo:D:D

  • lol haha i love way how he stand up from that coffin:D:D:D

  • max schreck(nosferatu)is one cool and scary guy....

  • omg if i saw those eyes peepin through that coffin i would have crapped myself!

  • lol

  • You're an idiot. Congrats, you're a fucking moron.

  • i wish this was in movie theatres today and shorty from scary movie, and the guy from malibu's most wanted were in the theatre to say "RUN BITCH!RUUUUN"

  • really cool geez will people stop refering to tim burton on all the old horror stuff i watch dont you know any other people , its like when people think you like slipknot if you say you like metal

  • @xane3 You know what I like? Punctuation. Maybe you should try it sometime.

  • @xane3 What?? Why would anyone refer to Burton on old horror movies?? :P

Also, about the alst part of your comment, I understand what you're saying, but the problem is slipknot sucks. Tim Burton is awesome.

  • @xane3 No kidding, slipknot isnt bad but i don't like them at all i think they suck

  • About Murnau-----google the name "Frank Worthen"!

  • the characters name is harker, not hutter

  • In this version it's hutter. RESEARCH FIRST!!

  • no dude,i watched nosferatu 1922,i even own it,its harker,it might be the quality making it look like its saying hutter but it isnt

  • ok i looked it up,ur right but,for some reason in my movie it still says Harker btw i found it on wikipidea

  • Theory: It's a new version after the Dracula chars became available 2 public everywhere.

  • You are both right.

There are several variations on the names used in the title cards, because of differences in language and country of origin in different release versions over the years.

I've also seen a version where the Harker character is called "Knock"

  • tim burton would have alot of fun doing a movie like this

  • Batman Returns from Tim Burton really capture the essence of German Expressionism.

Oh, Max Schreck sucking energy from the city... Genius.

    My english sucks, i know.

  • thats funny bc batman returns was my favorite batman movie until dark knight

  • your english is good

  • Gothic terror...if you watch this with the original piano background music, it's a lot better...man, NOSFERATU is wicked!!

  • Why did he have to be a hero and open the coffin x(

  • Nosferatu is nothing a desert eagle .50 couldn't handle.

  • Never insult the great ghoul.

  • yea well... you know what they sayin'... nosferatu is not sucking only necks now...

  • in fact that is the description of the Gayracula film, lol search on imdb

  • nosferatu means dracula in german you idiot!besides it was made in germany in 1922 so it officialy was called Nosferatu 1922

  • Comment removed

  • Nosferatu is a different film than Dracula.

  • different, but the story is basically the same. The studio got shut down because this movie was too much like Dracula.

  • I don't understand what studio you're talking about. I own both Dracula and Nosferatu, so they're both out...

  • I forget what the studio was called, but it was a studio started with the soul purpose to make horror movies. But when Nosferatu was released, (their first film), some relatives of the author of Dracula got all irritated that the studio used Stoker's story and just changed the names to make it seem original. So, the lawsuit bankrupt the studio and they shut down. Look it up if you don't believe me.

  • Not only did Stoker's widow sue Murnau and the studio, they tried to have every copy destroyed. Luckily, some survived.

  • @CodeOfLaw nosferatu means ''undead'' in german.

  • Wow. You're the coolest guy ever!

  • run! run! run! D:

  • great video ,the face Max Schreck is like true nightmare.

  • This scene scares the crap out of me.

  • Me too.... I´ve watched this movie this week and this and the last scene (the shadow going upstairs) stood in my brain...it´s really creepy....but the last scene is the best....it´s like a irresistible death shadow...

  • None of the creepiest horror films nowadays can compare to the horror of the films in the '20's and '30's

  • the movie must be so fucking old

  • It was made in 1922

  • Creepy.

  • that would of been creepy if Nosferatu rose up and slowly walked towards John when he is sitting on the stairs scared!

  • the face of the vampire (Orlok0 is creepy in the coffin.

  • It is one of the most impressive and scary horror movies I've ever seen.
