I LOVE KX, one of my fav bands ever. But I didn't like this cover, except for Doug singing, there's no KX into it. The song lost energy and punch. The drummer made an interesting work though.

Check KX on Take Cover (Mr. Big), THAT is a hell of a cover.

Douchebag. If you're talking about raw singing ability, Doug kills James. If you're talking about fidelity to the original song, then you have kind of a point, except a)many covers depart quite a bit from the original and b) this one is better than the original.

As far as being the "biggest metal band of all time"--who cares? Dark Angel tears Metallica to pieces, and I bet you don't even know who they are.

Popularity doesn't mean quality.

It's nice to meet fellow Dark Angel fans. I agree about Dark Angel ripping up Metallica to shreds.

Dark Angel had better lyrics and a better drummer than Metallica. Ron Rinehart is also a considerably impressive vocalist versus James Hetfield.

Granted, Kill 'em All is superior to We Have Arrived but Dark Angel truly began when Gene entered the fray and delivered such hidden gems like Darkness Descends (classic), Leave Scars (masterpiece) and Time Does Not Heal (magnum opus).

Additionally, DA have not plagiarized like Metallica has (no matter how small their plagiarism is versus, say, Bullet for my Valentine or Avenged Sevenfold).
