I also love the work of this great drummer Michael di Pasqua.Jim Black one of todays great anant garde-jazz-drummers refers to him as an influence. I think that he stopped drumming in late 80's and he played again in Weber's 'Endless days' ecm 2001.
One of my all-time favorite musical masterpieces! I had just moved to Denver, CO in 1982 and first heard this aired from KUNC in Greeley, CO. It's one of the first pieces that made me realize the gigantic world that existed outside of so-called popular music. Truly, this is just a gem! Thank you for posting this.
